Fix the broken
Great price for the room. Room was clean, wished it had a table to eat at, we used the footstool to substitute. Ice machine was not operating. Rolling shade only raised about 12” for lighting.

The parking lot & sidewalks were covered in ice still from past storm. The room you had to slam the door to get it to shut & the dead bolt did not lock. The shower the control would fall off & the water drain was not good. It flowed to the middle of the bathroom floor. Tried to call the operator to report what was going on & got no answer. Went to the desk & they did not seem concerned.

Poor service and dirty
Parking lot was covered in snow so parking was very difficult. Sidewalks were covered in ice. Trash overflowing by the doors. The room had used condoms under the bed. Refrigerator didn’t work and the morning front desk staff wasn’t very helpful. He was taking a personal call and didn’t acknowledge me and when he finally did I asked for milk since none was out at breakfast he didn’t say anything just walked and grabbed a gallon and set it on counter still on the phone. So bad customer service

Not sure I would do this again
Heating unit sounded like a 747 and it would not shut the heat off so I was continually getting up when it got cold in room and turning it on and then having to get up again when I started sweating. Yeah, it was that bad. And then the bath towels are really glorified thin hand towels. You can tell owners are cutting corners wherever they can.

Never stay here again
rude front desk clerk. I asked to checkin about 1 hour before the 3 pm posted checkin. No apparent housekeeping activity and very few cars in the abundantly dirty parking lot. I was NOT allowed to check in early, even when I explained that my husband was undergoing treatment at KU med and I was looking to get checkin in while he was asleep at the hospital. She was rude. Vestiblule and parking lot were dirty. I didn't even stay as I had to get to a room somewhere to spend the night before I was called back to the hospital.

Not the best but not the worst kind of dark when we pulled up didn't know where the front entrance was window was damaged in the room and the tub was kind of wonky was only there for 36 hours so didn't really complain

Find a different Hotel
I got my key and went to my room. I was told to go to one entrance, but when I did that it was a long way to my room. The room had no lock on the door and the window shades would not go all the way down. I asked for a new room and they have me a room that already had someone in it. I went back to the front desk and was given a new room that was acceptable. In the first room, before heading to desk I tried to call the front desk and I let it ring 20 times and they wouldn't pick up. While I was at the desk the phone rang and they ignored it.
