False and fraudulent advertising with fake photos and reviews. This building is dilapidated and dirty. The condition is terrible and they are trying to fool people by calling themselves a 4 star hotel with photoshopped photos and fake reviews.
We stayed one night and were appalled at the condition of the hotel. Unfortunately we had no time to look for a different hotel.

Decent place

Staff were VERY helpful. The location means that lots of traffic noise is inevitable unfortunately.
Wi-Fi signal is poor, even with a dongle provided by the hotel, it was still occasionally intermittent.
I would still stay here again if visiting Hubli.

Too Soft to Sleep
The Fern upgraded us to a suite - this was nice of them. However there was a party downstairs for the staff that went on till 0130 and kept us awake. One of their security guards took Rs. 200 to wash the car and then disappeared - the car remained unwashed. The mattresses used in the hotel are very soft and do not allow any real comfort. On the upside, the staff was very friendly and warm.

We won’t be back.
WE WONT BE BACK, we will get to that in a minute.
Given the niceness of the pictures advertised and that it was a “new hotel” we expected to get just that. It is actually an old hotel that has been bought out and slowly is undergoing updates. The photos were not incorrect, but they are airbrushed and photoshopped like a supermodel with cellulite. Ok fine, we can adjust.
The kindness and good service of the wait staff was great, and the food was excellent.
THEY HAVE LOST OUR BUSINESS:
We booked 3 nights as we were attending a family wedding. All the relatives decided to stay at the hotel after we had booked, so we brought A TON of business to that hotel because of US. One room needed to extend for one more night so we used the app to add another night. There was some glitch in the app, the payment went through twice, and the room ended up being double booked. We immediately informed the hotel manager and asked if he would help us out by refunding the double booking, and he flat out refused. Even after throughly explaining the situation, and telling him how many rooms in his hotel were filled because of us, and having that second room sit empty, he doubled down. The manager saved himself 5K rupees on one room only to lose thousands in future business from us.
Stay at the Dennison. It’s much nicer.
