Great for a family and close to the resort

This was the perfect location for a family when our goal was to go for skiing. It was a 5 minute drive which meant we could just drop and pickup the skiers. The two bedroom and two bath was huge and perfect for a family of 4. My favorite part was that it felt like staying at a home rental with the convenience of a hotel. A check in/check out desk, community room, large property with amenities.

It was a nice place. Very comfortable and good amenities. One downfall is the ability to hear everything your neighbors are doing. You can hear all the thumping from walking and the talking, especially in units with the shared door (which was dead bolted shut so there was no worries there).

For the most part, the unit was very nice.The deck that is right above the entry door, drips water right on the slight ramp to the entry. It freezes and is a hazard. The gas fire place was very difficult to light. Even the maintenance man had a hard time with it. I finally got it lit . The thermostat for the furnace was not functioning properly. It has a beautiful jacuzzi tub how ever the valve did not function properly. Once I fiddled with it I got it to work however the hot water source was not sufficient to fill the tub. There are no other hot tubs or spas available on the property . The gentleman at the front counter, did not even acknowledge me when I walked in for check-in. The other lady was very pleasant and helpful. I mentioned all these issues to the maintenance man. I can't imagine that I am the only one that would experience all these problems. Hopefully, they will address these problems in the future. door and freezes.

Great place to stay. The condo kitchen was well stocked with required cooking items, pots, pans utensils, etc. Very spacious. We loved that it had a washer & dryer. We loved the fireplace and very comvenient to Sugar Mountain.

We rented a three-bedroom suite to go ski in Sugar Moutain before Christmas. This property really surprised us on the location, cleanliness, amenities provided and lovely atmosphere. All of us LOVED this property and cannot wait to go back. First, the location is great, 1.4 miles from the ski resort, 2 miles from downtown Banner Elk, with a lot of dining options around. The suit is really well maintained, with a well equipped kitchen, providing nice cooking utencils, cups, plates, and bowls. The unit has central AC system, making it really nice and quiet. It also has a gaslog fireplace, super nice for winter. All the rooms in the suite are large and mattresses are very comfortable. The community has a activity center, providing games, puzzles and showing movies every night. We LOVE LOVE LOVE the vibe and were really surprised by the amenities provided. We cannot wait to go back next year. Thank you SO MUCH for the well managed property!

Arriving, it was obvious they were doing some construction which was understandable but definitely a little confusing to maneuver. The area was convenient as we stayed here to snowboard at Sugar Mountain which was really close. The rooms were pretty with a fireplace etc. BUT there were little cockroaches. One in the dishwasher, the entrance, and when we turned on the kitchen lights, we saw three scurrying away which was gross. I closed all my luggages on a higher shelf as to not worry about them in my belongings. It’s such a shame because it was a great property. If this issue wasn’t present, then I would’ve been happier with my stay.

Very nice condo with lots of room and all the basic supplies you need for a few days or a few weeks! The staff members are welcoming and keep in touch to make sure your stay is satisfactory. The condo was clean, modern and in good repair. Highly recommended!

Great location, great mountain views, close to attractions and downtown. The room was nice and accommodating. Customer service needs improvements. When we walked in the lady at the front desk did not greet us or wait on us for a few minutes (nobody else was checking in). Finally, when we got help the lady didn’t know how to check over our online reservation and yelled to the manager in the back office to come out for insistance. We would come back, but please sharpen up the customer service skills.
