Will not stay there again
Would not stay there again. Guess for the price, I got what it was worth. Very noisy, dogs barking in their rooms at night. Too close to major street. Did have a clean refrigerator. And room seemed clean. Don't know if the towel was a hand towel or that small towel was considered the bath towel. And who knows when last time air conditioner grating was cleaned, caked with dirt.

Red Roof Inn - Palmdale
I stayed at Red Roof Inn Palmdale for a little over a week. During my stay at the hotel, the room was rarely serviced, and fresh towels were not provided daily. I had to ask the front desk numerous times throughout the week for new towels. The room was also frequently visited by cockroaches on a near nightly basis, crawling all over the walls. In addition, the sign stated and advertised there was free cable stations such as HBO, however the cable service did not include none of the channels listed in the advertisement such as HBO.

Room wasnt in the best of condition, ice machine was not working so they had us grab sheets of ice from top (not sanitary) and the place smelled like smoke. Check in staff was nice. They are pet friendly.

Old rundown hotel. Air Conditioning is burt up. No A/C Window is an alternative as air circulation and a/c unit. The hotel/room unit is old. The room has a lot patching repair. There's a long strand of hair hanging on the shower curtian railing. View of the hotel itself outside looks good but inside room is old dirty.

Staff was not at all friendly and not always available. Dogs barking on and of each day. Noise in bathroom area day thru night. Workmen hammering and drilling thru Sunday. Only 1 face cloth, 1 towel and 1 bath towel. No cream, sugar or coffee asked for receipt when checking out but did not show total amount. I have had many travels across country and this is the first time I have complained.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at what can only be described as one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this place was a disaster. First off, the parking lot was crawling with cockroaches, which led me to worry about what I might find inside. Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed as I encountered more bugs in my room. The smell of cigarettes permeated the air, making it feel anything but welcoming. The room itself was appalling. There was no deadbolt on the door, leaving me feeling unsafe. Hair was everywhere, indicating that it hadn't been cleaned properly—if at all. The room looked nothing like the renovated photos posted online, which felt misleading and deceptive. The bathroom was the worst part. The shower was absolutely filthy, perhaps the dirtiest I’ve encountered in all my travels. To make matters worse, the sink was broken, and there appeared to be blood on the wall—something that’s utterly unacceptable in any accommodation. As if that wasn't enough, the room wasn’t level, and the drawer to the TV stand kept opening on its own throughout the night, adding to the overall discomfort. The service was lackluster at best; the staff merely checked me in without offering any directions or assistance, which is typically standard at most hotels. Overall, my stay was a nightmare, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s a sad excuse for a place to rest your head, and I left feeling more exhausted.
