Five stars indeeed, staff was really nice and helpful. Room was perfect and extremely clean. The jetted tub had chlorine that was a bonus. Now for their restaurant, food was a ten out of ten. Our server went above and beyond. It’s funny times rn with covid so dinning is way different how ever we sat at a table outside and our waiter stated he has a nice jbl and offered to go get it and put it next to us and play whatever music we wanted which was absolutely amazing. That man deserves a raise no doubt. Overall it was a perfect stay

The Carlton Hotel was awesome! Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Parking is a bit of a challenge at first but once you are familiar with the area it is ok. Definitely will stay there again. Atascadero is a great little town.

Great spot centrally located between Paso for wine and Morro and Pismo for Beach. We will be back!

Our stay was great but you need more staff. The front desk needs to be staffed 24/7. The front desk clerk did come quick when called but it was inconvenient to have to call the Hotel phone number to get her, rather than pushing the “front desk” button on the phone.

This is our second time staying at the Carlton. We love the rooms and the service at the front desk. It is also a good location for our winery visits in the area. Conveniently located to freeway access, but very quiet. Loved the bakery Cafe in the building.

this place is my kind of hotel....old and restored to a glamour the new stuff can't touch....the bakery is my favorite perk, but the new restaurant is also very enjoyable to eat and listen to music....nice little town, and easy access to major routes around the wine country.

Loved our little mini stay for 2 nights. We used the inner courtyard when we arrived after we settled in to enjoy beer we brought from Firestone Brewery. It was nice and quiet and relaxing. The room we had was fantastic. I rarely get a "I like this place" from my husband, but he really liked it. The mattress was perfect for comfort and your back. The closet is huge, bathroom beautiful, there is a Keurig and a small fridge. The staff were friendly and courteous. The dining room with new Chef Thomas was also a big hit. Once again my husband complimented his meal. So, yes, stay here you will love it. Beautiful, quiet accomodations within walking distance to many things downtown. Enjoy
