New room- broken building
New room on the 5th floor with broken elevator and no AC for 2 days. I’m older and going up and down 5 floors was a beating. Waisted a lot of my time waiting for maintenance to come and fix the air. Food was excellent but drinks were not great. Poor selection of spirits.

La información que dan al hacer la reserva es muy pobre, en ningún lado pude encontrar las instrucciones para reservar mi traslado desde el aeropuerto, a mi llegada llamé por teléfono y solo me pasaron de una línea a otra, nadie intentó resolver o ayudar en lo más mínimo, una experiencia muy mala desde el inicio de mi viaje. El hotel está bien pero los meseros aunque son amables, tratan significativamente mejor a los turistas extranjeros

We Love This Place!
We have visited El Cid's properties in Puerto Morelos over a dozen times and have always had an enjoyable stay. During our last visit, my wife had a negative experience with a staff member at one of the restaurants, so I brought it up to hotel management. I had no expectations beyond them taking action. After spending that afternoon at the pool, we returned to our room to find a hand-written apology note, a small chocolate sculpture, and a bottle of champagne. They definitely listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure my wife was smiling before we left. Bad interactions happen sometimes so I would not fault them for 1 in over 10 years, but I will give high praise for their response!

We just stayed 11 nights at the Ventus Ha with our 3 children (8, 10, 12) and had the most memorable experience. The property is on the north side of the road and provides access to the Marina El Cid as well as the Ventus El Cid, plus all of their respective amenities, restaurants, bars and pools. The Ventus Ha itself is the most serine and modern of the 3. The fact that it is across the road made it more secluded and private almost, and the other properties were easily accessible by “carrito” (golf carts) which are readily available on request. The Marina (1st built) provided an excellent typical Mexican resort energy with full buffet breakfast every morning until 11:30 and a family friendly party atmosphere with swim up bar, daily pool entertainment, water slide and cliff dive. The Ventus (2nd built) was an amazing in between feel, again, very family friendly with a huge main pool with waterfalls, and 2 additional infinity pools, 1 of which being adult only. It also was where the main lunch spot could be found, named Mercado de Dolores. The Mercado had an abundance of options for everyone, almost like a food court with Mexican, Italian, Asian and many more options like custom crepe station, ceviche bar and much more. Full service was provided at all dining establishments. Various dinner options available by reservation too. Washrooms and towels were always within steps of where we were, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to go back!! ¡Hasta luego!

Ventus Ha es un hotel nuevo , me gustó que cuidaran el medio ambiente y el personal es muy amable aunque creo que les falta un poco de capacitación en general . El único inconveniente que veo es que los restaurantes se especialidades son casi imposibles de reservar , nosotros solo alcanzamos en un horario en la Marina , todo lo demás estaba lleno , y cuando fuimos había muchísimo espacio y mesas vacías . Me parece que limitan mucho estos restaurarantes para las personas que pagamos el todo incluido para mandar a la mayoría al bufett , este fue el único problema que si mejoran regresaríamos . Saludos
