Good hotel but a bit out dated

Good location in a quiet part of Ubud. Rooms were spacious but not a lot of daylight. Chair and umbrellas at the pools seemed old and in need of an upgrade. Very friendly staff.

It was ok but way to expensive for the value. The staff was excellent. Restaurant ok. Breakfast had only a limited amount served - no buffet. You had the feeling of being and ATM for the hotel with constant offer of buying extra items. The garden was beautiful.

Excellent value for money for UBUD

As good or better than the photos. Very large individual pool and huge room. Bathroom top notch and very clean and super quiet at night. The on site restaurant was better than anywhere else we ate in Ubud and staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Definitely stay there again unless this and other positive reviews push prices out of our range!

We stayed for a week and had a very relaxing time and were looked after by the staff. The surrounds are beautiful, in the midst of rice fields; the room was spacious, clean and luxurious; the breakfasts were pretty good, especially if you stick to the Indonesian menu. It's not super-close to the heart of Ubud, but there's an hourly shuttle bus to get you in there and it's also cheap enough to get your own transport.

DON'T MISS THE BEAUTIFUL BALI COUNTRYSIDE

We wanted to experience the country side of Bali and it was exactly what we got. A lovely view over the rice padies and our own pool. The hotel food was excellent and the staff were great, lovely people. We had a small problem with insects but that was promptly taken care of by the hotel manager (Buli) and his staff. Thank you Buli we would certainly stay with you again when next we visit Bali.

The people of Bali are wonderful and the staff at Wapa di Uma is no exception. The facilities of the resort and environment it is set in are absolutely amazing. We dined at the resort restaurant much more than I initially planned due to the hospitality of the staff working there. The resort focuses on your stay from the incredibly friendly personalities of the staff to the continuous cleanliness of the entire facility. The property sits against beautiful terraced rice patties and is loaded with tropical plants, flowers, and koi fish.

Wapa Di Ume is a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. It feels very traditional and formal, in both look and service compared to some other places we stayed while in Bali. The staff is all very friendly and professional, and happy to help. The rooms are huge, and very minimally decorated, which is both practical and calming. The super-sized beds are super inviting. The spa was lovely, we booked a couples spa package that included a Balinese massage, body scrub, and flower bath overlooking the jungle and grounds - perhaps the highlight of our stay. The hotel restaurant was very good, and the floating breakfast was lovely in the infinity pool, which we had to ourselves.

The staff and service were wonderful. We stayed for one night last minute for a special occasion, and received an upgrade to a pool villa and a celebration cake. I also had a massage which was lovely. We had room service dinner which arrived quickly. We could hear the live music quite loudly from the room, but it stopped quite early (around 9).

My Favorite Hotel in Ubud!

Wapa Di Umi Ubud feels like family. This was my second stay at this wonderful resort just on the outskirts of Ubud. Located just a short distance from the hustle bustle of Ubud, Wapa Di Ume is a peaceful retreat that reflects the beauty and tradition of Bali. The entire staff goes the extra mile and everyone is so professional, gracious and kind. This resort was recommended to us by the manager of a resort in Seminyak. They have a Spa, restaurant, two pools with bar area, shuttle to and from Ubud and they offer excursions, activities and entertainment. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and are equipped with refrigerators with minibars, kettles and the necessities you may need. I book the one bedroom villa. I will definitely be returning to Wapa Di Ume for all of my stays in Ubud. Thank you for making us feel like family! ❤️❤️❤️

Good stay, but plenty room for improvement

We booked the family villa and it was beautiful, just like the resort. Few resorts in Ubud have beautiful scenery like this one - right on a rice field (not terrace), with an infinity pool and a spa. My favorite part was that the resort offers activities like yoga classes and rice paddy walk. That was a nice bonus. They also arranged breakfast in pool but this felt a but overpriced considering breakfast is already included in the reservation and it was not any different. Areas of improvement are: 1) the gym - it’s in poor condition with some machines not working. No A/C. 2) entire resort is poorly lit at night. Lighting needs to be better. We almost tripped several times cause it was too dark. 3) pest control needs to improve - our room was full of spider webs and wasps. We wouldn’t care but it got to a point where we had bugs in our beds. 4) Communication - teach your staff English. We had tons of miscommunications with appointments. 5) The spa needs more attention. We had a bad massage here, towels were dirty, booked for 1 hr but lasted only 40 minutes. Masseuses were tired as it was end of day. 6) room safe was broken Based on these reasons, although I didn’t mind my stay here, I would rather stay at a different resort next time I’m in Ubud.

Just had 3 peaceful days here. Pure bliss. Staff go above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming. Choices at breakfast were varied. I ate all dinners here. Delicious food at bargain prices (compared to U.S.). Drink prices were not as cheap, but I'm not a huge drinker, so it was ok. I used their spa (was given 20% discount). They offer free shuttle to/from downtown Ubud. Honestly, so glad I didnt stay in town..crazy crowded. This was much more peaceful. They has a cultural night with traditional dancing. And the property landscaping is gorgeous!

L’hotel mérite sa bonne note. Les personnes sont très gentille et sont aux petits soins. Les chambres sont très grandes. Nous avons dîner un soir à l’hotel car celui-ci proposait un spectacle : spectacle super et nourriture excellente. 388k/pers (enfant 2 ans gratuit, rajouter tva +service sir addition). Nous avons aussi louer un scooter pour 2 jours en passant par l’hotel : 125k/jour. Le scooter est amené sur place. Nous recommandons fortement cet hotel pour son cadre très beau, la proximité avec le centre ville (7/8min taxi) et l'accueil des personnes de l’hôtel

The staff were service oriented, very hospitable from the start and checking in via WhatsApp for our needs/questions and also for a smooth arrival/departure. The room does not have a tv but that wasn’t a concern for us just something to take note. It is really big and clean, the bathtub was amazing as well though the water may not remain hot to fill it completely. The breakfast is not a buffet but more than sufficient with many vegan and vegetarian options. Overall I loved the property and would love to come back

Wonderful Staff

We were welcomed with warm smiles. They showed us where everything was and assisted with our bags to room. They even learned our names and addressed us by name when they would see us. The spa was wonderful and the food was so fresh and delicious. We loved Ms. Arike in the restaurant she took very good care of us.
