Our tent was covered in dog hair. The floor, the dishes, we even found hair in our food. The floor wasn’t swept well and linens did not smell clean. Very disappointing. We asked for additional blankets and when we received them & they smelled like dog. It was very unpleasant. Also, the electricity on the tent went out, the staff came and turned it on, unfortunately it went out again. Besides the power outage, the dog hair everywhere and linens that smelled like dog, all of the staff were very pleasant, great scenery, and the grounds were kept well. Pool area, & bath houses were nice and clean.

A Staycation Getaway - In a Tent!
Huttopia Paradise Springs is a very relaxing & quiet tent camping resort. I wouldn't call it glamping, as it doesn't have the high end amenities like other glamping hotel chains. This is definitely still tent camping, but with lots of space and supplies that is set up & ready for you. It was very clean & well maintained, the tents have everything you need (except wifi, but thats a plus for me). They have a great little book & games cabin with things to entertain you (or bring your own). The pool is not heated and VERY cold when the weather starts to dip into cool temps at night. The little kitchen has great food options that we really enjoyed. Depending on the time of year, come prepared for tons of mosquitos. The tents are very good at keeping the bugs & mosquitos out - we saw only 1 or 2 inside. Its great having a bathroom in the tent. The sunrise there was really beautiful and the surrounding scenery is relaxing. The Devil's Punchbowl Trail nearby is great. Huttopia is a great spot to escape LA & take a break, but I think the price is a bit high for what you get (having stayed at many similar resorts). Thankfully it seems like the prices are going down for the tail end of the season.
Sunrise in the tent
The grounds team will set up a bonfire in the bonfire area if you ask! This area is at very high risk for fires so they do not let you light your own.

Too far away from the pool and the bistro. Had to drive 1/4 mile to throw trash. Felt unsafe. The overhead fan of was no good. it was making more noise that working. Bring your own fan. It was 97 degrees . The Bistro was pricey and the food was not good at all. It was not glamping at all. Felt very isolated and there was bear sighting. Basically drove 26miles to get better food.

Pool was not sparkling clean; perhaps having an outdoor shower & requiring people to rinse off their dusty bodies would help. Highly recommend having communal golf carts so Leila don’t need to struggle with their supplies to get into their tents. The so-called market was a joke— either stick with more items or just close it. Food options were WAY OVERPRICED & no where justified in cost (simple, not gourmet). Folks should be warned to TAKE YOUR OWN FOOD OPTIONS & SO NOT REALLY ON THE MARKET OR ONSITE RESTAURANT

First time glamping and I would say we had a great experienced. I'm rating it 4 star because the staff are top notch. Otherwise I would rate this with 3 stars. Pros: The facilities are clean (except for the pool, well given where you at I don't think you'll get a cleaner pool, with all the dust and trees. surrounding) Staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially to the general manager (I apologized we didn't get your name), but he helped us picked up some coolant for our car that was over heating. We appreciate your help. Nice view My favorite was there is a stream infront, which is very cold and relaxing. Cons: This is my number 1 problem, there was no description that the tent we booked was like 5 mins drive from the main facility/pool/activities area/trash area. They should atleast put a note or sign when booking that the tent with private bathroom are far from the main facilities. On our last day of the stay we woke up with no power. I guess the solar panel ran out? This is a very expensive stay and you still need to take out the trash yourself and clean the tent, otherwise you'll be paying extra. If something happens over night there is no one that cam help you, they don't have an overnight staff. The power went off overnight and no one was there to help us. These are just cons that everyone should be aware of, otherwise it was a good stay.

The property and amenities were great but it was very inconvenient to be placed very far from the main area, where there were dining, pool or cell service. We had to always drive from our side of the tent to the main area. The tent itself was very nice with all the utensils for cooking and it was pretty clean. Our propane however, was empty the first night and we didn't realize until later the night and it was hard to track anyone to change it until the next morning. The concept was nice but there could be improvements, maybe entertainment in main area, s'mores nights, or yoga in the morning... just some ideas.

First time taking the family camping and this place was perfect. Not being a big camping fan, I wanted to try it and I wasn’t disappointed. The real elements are still presents along with some nice touches with the tents that you book. I was happy they had kid activities each night and I was overall pleased with dining option they had onsite. Note, cell service is bad so plan to disconnect when coming up.

I loved the greenery and big trees around the main area. The main area was nice and felt very outdoorsy/glamping appropriate. Once I got to my tent area, it looked different. I wish there were more activities near the tent areas as the main area is quite far. When booking, I didn’t realize how far most of the tents were from the main area. If possible, I’d recommend trying to get a tent near the main hub for a better experience.
