There was an issue the first night with the room across the hall from me around midnight. I considered calling 911 but someone must have called as I heard a loud “Police” then things began to settle down. Very upsetting. Being on the second floor with a heavy suitcase was not ideal for a senior citizen which I am. I saw no sign of an elevator. Second and third nights were fine as was everything else.

8/21/25 stay.

Bathroom door would not latch, it squeaked and you had to force it to close. Very little room on the bathroom vanity top to put things. Noise from the 2nd floor room was excessive. Could hear the thud of every foot step.

Aging hotel, mildew smell

Charged us extra $50 for 3 people in a room that was rated for 4 people. Room smelled of mildew with aging AC unit that sounded like a plane landing every time it kicked on. Window had a big crack in it which made it hard to open for air. "Free" breakfast was worth about that - completely picked over by 8:30AM. Worst coffee on the Cape. Indoor pool was warm but crowded and full of paint chips. You have to work hard to be this bad.

Good for a couple night's stay

The hotel is in a good location. Closer to Denis area. The room was clean. 2 beds and a sofa. Perfect for what we needed for The Pan Mass Challenge weekend. We used the outdoor poor without issues. The indoor pool looked clean as well. There was a continental breakfast each morning which was nothing fancy... egg patties, sausage, bagels, toast , cereal, muffins, yogurts. Just enough so we didnt have to go out every morning . First morning we had egg patties...no sausage. Second morning we had sausage and no egg patties. The downfall was there was noone to monitor this area for breakfast. We asked the girl at the front desk and the answer was " no eggs today" as she continued with her cell phone. Wasnt expecting a gourmet breakfast, but this made us go out in search of some breakfast sandwiches. Would stay again but only for a couple days...not a week or longer. Good for the price.

Comfortable, clean place to stay

The Ambassador Inn was very clean, comfortable and well maintained facility. The king size room and bed were spacious and made it enjoyable to be able to spread out. Bathroom appeared recently renovated with modern fixtures, new tub and plenty of high pressured hot water in the shower. Outdoor pool was extremely clean without an over abundance of chlorine. Pool patio had plenty of longer chairs for relaxing after a nice swim. The entire ground are very well maintained, with picnic tables and a few charcoal grills. Lightening in the evening around the grounds made it feel safe. Breakfast offering were plentiful but need quicker refills as there were many guest having breakfast. Breakfast room was large with numerous tables in a large glass walled sunken room. Staff did their best in keeping the food area clean as well as the tables. Overall we had a wonderful three day stay that was reasonably priced for such a clean and comfortable place. The only negative we experienced were the walking, running noise in the late night and early morning from the guests in the second floor above our room. This was not the fault of the management but was just some inconsiderate people. We would definitely stay here again, in a second floor room!! Thank you to you and your kind staff for a nice stay, Patel!!

Comfortable Hotel

This is a wonderful place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I had problems with the TV. Couldn't get channels to stay on. TV kept going off. Shower was lovely. The outside pool was very clean. The breakfast was an assortment of items. I enjoyed the fresh fruit!

The maids tried to steal my husbands brand new Apple Watch and the front desk said it wasn’t in the room. We must have taken it. Thankfully you can ping your watch and we found it. Never going back there again.
