卡爾加里機場森德曼飯店 - 卡加立

I booked this as a last minute stay while visiting a sick friend. From arrival, it was a gong show. Walking in to the hotel, the lobby was stifling hot. The heat was made worse by the fact that there was one person working behind the check in desk and the hotel shuttle had just dropped off a group of 8 waiting to check in. Whether it was due to the check in process or the inefficiency of the person behind the desk, it took over 30 minutes to get checked in. I arrived in my room hot and tired and just wanting to crawl in bed and go to sleep only to discover it was even hotter than the lobby. The thermostat read 32C. The room had an odd layout with old and scratched up furniture. All in all a disappointing experience. I will not stay here again.

Sandman Airport: Lady at desk Pouja ( no last name). Patient, helpful, smiling. I could not get the pass card to work. she showed me more than once and once i got the routine I was helping other guest get to floor. Said come back of course. (I have to admit a fear; bugs. so many reports of places with infestations I was afraid to sleep in bed. I slept on couch with all lights on. I don't travel much. Bathroom could use a bit of upgrade but not much, just some evidence around seams. I like movable shower heads not stationary. with apologies about being afraid to ask.

Front desk let the phone ring incessantly instead of answering and putting someone on hold. This was annoying both as a guest standing at the front desk listening to it and as a guest trying to call for a shuttle when at the airport. Front desk took credit card deposit and I requested that on check out I use a different card. When I checked out I had the card I wanted to use in my hand ready and I wasn’t given the option to use it, they charged the card on file
