The motel room was fine. The front staff were nice. That said, I needed to check out early after 4 (really 3) nights instead of 8. Long calls with Hotels.com - lots of hold time. Motel management would only reimburse me at the lowest rate possible for the nights I did not stay, and charged me the highest rate possible for the nights I did stay. My reimbursement was very low and ended up paying way over $215.00 per night for 4 nights of what was originally a $121.00 per night stay. Also, they charged me for 4 nights because, by the time this was resolved, it was past check-out time after the 3rd night. Given that, the 3 nights in the motel cost me an average of $287.00 per night. Their reimbursement rate per night for the 4 (really 3) nights was $67.00 bucks per night. Because I really only stayed three nights it amounted to $53.00 per night. Given these financial decisions, I will never stay at this motel again and I will make sure visiting family and friends never stay there. Given the opportunity, they will gauge the customer.
