This hotel is convenient, clean, with comfortable beds. The maid did a superb job and came daily, leaving everything spotless. Even about half the parking spaces are covered, which was nice. However, with no carpet in the hallways or stairs, and on such a busy street, the noise was too much for me. Ask for a room #ending in less than 20 and you’ll be on the end away from the traffic. I stayed 3 nights. The breakfast is only a grab and go, and only if you ask, consisting or a prepackaged sweet roll and 2 granola bars. The 3rd morning, they added a yogurt. The tea bags in the lobby were removed at night because they said homeless come in and steal them. I came in late in pouring rain and there were none, and no one behind the desk to ask.
2 days there was no internet and no dial tone on the phone to even call the front desk. I missed a Zoom meeting because I couldn’t get a connection.
When I came in, I was told they would charge me $1.50/day for the room safe, even though I didn’t want or use it, but said it could be refunded when I checked out. When I did, I found they had charged me $4.50/day for the safe, which I asked for it to be removed. The clerk removed $9 and said she could not do any more. Later, the manager called my cell upset for me asking the charge be removed. He demanded I come back to the hotel and prove from my receipt they had charged me $14.50 extra, and if I didn’t, he would charge me double for 6 days.
