Es un excelente hotel, en lo personal mi mejor estancia en la cadena Occidental La comida es muy buena y las instalaciones aunque de aspecto rústico fueron muy agradables Siempre se siente una inclinación de servicio hacia los huéspedes extranjeros, pero esta vez hubo ciertos miembros del staff que se esmeraron en brindar una agradable experiencia (Daniel el capitán de meseros del restaurante La Carreta)

Excellent stay! Nadia did a wonderful job as wedding coordinator for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding on the beach. Beautiful! Wonderful reception! Staff accommodated our every request. And Millie and Jesus are the perfect activity providers! The kids had a great time playing on the beach and in the pool. Perfect balance of fun and quiet times. And excellent nonstop food options! We will certainly be back soon!

Third time here! We recently celebrated our destination wedding at this property, bringing 40 of our closest friends and family for an unforgettable experience. We stayed for 4-6 nights, and every moment was pure perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the hospitality, service, and attention to detail. Our wedding coordinator, Nadia, was absolutely incredible. She made sure I felt comfortable, relaxed, and stress-free throughout the entire process. Her organizational skills and calming presence allowed us to truly enjoy every aspect of our wedding day. I can’t thank her enough for making our dream wedding a reality. The nightlife experience was just as memorable, thanks to Jose, the bartender at the club. He was SO FUN and brought such great energy every night. Our group looked forward to evenings at La Mision because of him. The poolside bartenders also deserve special mention—they served up great drinks - exceptional service and friendly personality - specifically, Santos. For those late-night cravings, the pizza was okay but the bartender there, was awesome and kept the good vibes going. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every staff member we encountered was hospitable, kind, and genuinely eager to make our stay special. It’s clear that customer service is a top priority here. The food at the buffet was average, but we quickly learned to make reservations at the steakhouse.

Aguas con recepcion, pésimo .. pessiimo servicio
Lo que echa a perder es el pésimo servicio de recepción… jinetean tiempo para así cobrar de más.. explico.. llegamos a las 13 hrs. Así es antes y comentan que es hasta las 15 pero cuando se llega la hora comentan que si está la reservación pero no el pago.. y querían que se les volviera a parar, alegando que fue el app (cual llevo 20 años usando) la que no cumplió.. pero lo peor es que Abigail comenta que así estábamos. Varios cliente … total de un muy buen hotel .. dejan mal sabor de boca .. igual llueve y no se tuvo que dar 3 vueltas para que pudieran darnos un paraguas No hay ya playa , solo unos remanentes De ahí no hay quejas Y por favor eviten esos comentarios paternalistas de que van a cambiar .. por no hacer caso a otros que dicen lo mismo vivi esta experiencia Hay mejores hoteles con muy buena atención general al cliente Ya perdieron a dos clientes Escribí esto hasta que me liberaron la garantía que le pusieron a mi tarjeta de crédito

Mejor buscar otra opción.
La habitación mala, con goteras, agujeros en las paredes y un balcón que no cerraba bien la puerta. Habia albañiles haciendo reformas desde temprano por lo que si querías dormir más e la 9, olvídalo. En la restaurantes de especialidad tardaron más de 45 mi en llevar el platillo principal después de retirar el plato de la entrada. La amabilidad del servicio excelente, pero el hotel en sí y mi experiencia mala. No regreso.

The staff hospitality is wonderful!!!! The rooms were nice and very clean. We had a hot water issue that they tried to fix. The resort reopened the day we arrived and there were still buildings being renovated so it was a bit noisy. The grounds are unbelievably beautiful but the beach area is still being rebuilt. Food was okay, drinks were great! Again, the staff is beyond wonderful!

This all inclusive resort definitely met my expectations, and more. I traveled with my family and we all had a wonderful experience. We had a bit of a bumpy start because the power was going out in our room, but the staff was quick to move us to a different room. Everyone was very friendly and serviceable. The food was delicious and the drinks were on point. The activities and events were fun for the whole family and everyone had a great time. The sunsets were spectacular. I highly recommend this resort to families as well as for couples.

First of all the Occidental was closed for repair, We were notified that we would be staying at the sister resort, Allegro. We had stayed at the Allegro before a few years back. The service was not what it used to be, We would ask for something such as wash cloths, diet Pepsi and be promised that someone would bring them out. Two days later we finally got them . Waiters gave us poor service, Some times we were not ask if we needed anything, like water or coffee.

First of all the occidental was shut down for repairs they called Me and asked if I wanted to reschedule my vacation about three weeks before hand excuse me I made these reservations back in March and planned this trip around my whole life and they want me to change at the last minute or they would move me to the Allegra. Their sister motel supposed to be in a five star I would give it zero stars very little unless she was a scuba diver or that was about all you could do. The beach was very little. The food was very low quality except for one night also during each time you would eat lunch or supper in one of the places they had the raccoons would invade the café, they even got on our table and ate in our plate every day there was raccoons by the pool and the restaurant, digging trash out of the trashcan and running around very nasty. Who knows what diseases they carried. This will be one place. I will never go again.

Pésimo servicio, resulta que en hoteles .com consideran niños hasta los 17 años y en el hotel Allegro consideran niños hasta los 13 años. Por tal motivo el hotel no quería recibirme, me exigía un pago de 500 dólares por la direncia de edad. Estuve 3 horas peleándo con la recepcionista del hotel Allegro, muy grosera por cierto, y finalmente tuve que pagar Además me cambiaron mi reservación al hotel Allegro que es de menor estrellas En fin una pésima experiencia por los que les pido una indemnización por los daños sufridos

Property did not communicate that they were closing during our stay. Found out that from other guests and had to go ask about it. Only one dining option multiple evenings. Only one bar multiple days. Severely understaffed. They should have notified us in advance and given us the option to change our booking to their sister property-which we were moved to. Totally shady way of doing business.

The room and food were good. The service was good minus an issue with dinner reservations that was resolved. The water was calm and clear. The beach has substantially eroded.
