Stay elsewhere

First impression wasn’t good. Several people hanging around the front door smoking. All other hotels were full so we went in and looked ok. Greeted by very friendly employee. Go to park where we were told and someone N.E. was taping off that side of driveway for work. Go around other side and there’s an RV parked on the grass near the building. Very strange. Go to our rooms and our room the a/c wasn’t working so we go to desk and were taken to another room. This room obviously needed a new bed. The bed was compressed in the middle. Anyway employee said it would be better if he saved it for a family that was coming since it had an adjoining room. So he finally put us in a nicer room by the front desk. The second day our family members had to be moved rooms because their rooms ceiling had fallen in from water damage. Breakfast was awful and minimal. Sausage links most days but limited to 2 (they were not good), sometimes boiled eggs-very minimal and 2 types of cereal and bread for toast. Overall the building was very dated, the roof needed replacement desperately. I noticed all the rooms we had been in the ceiling tiles had some with water damage.

Great value

Check in was friendly and quick. Room was large and clean. There is a lot of parking. We were there during a heat wave and the AC worked great! Bathroom was clean and had all the amenities. Can't say much about the breakfast, we went later in the morning and it was pretty much done.

Wasnt horrible, wasnt great

We were on the main floor.. children were running up and down the hallways screaming..i had to go to the hallway and shush them. The evening checkin was great, the morning.. front desk attendants were absent... poor ladies were runnong around doing everything. Obviously not enough staff to maintain breakfast area and front desk and everything else. Ladies were friendly though. The bathroom tub doesnt drain while showering. We didnt complain to the front desk because they were busy enough in the morning.We wont stay there again.

Check out all beds the minute you walk in!

Room 209. The bed closest to the door smelled like a wet stinky dog smell. What a waste of a bed. House keeping is obviously not paying attention as they would have to smell this. I feel a dog slept on this bed and it was never changed before we were given occupancy. Because of my hubby driving a 12 hour day he had fell asleep in the other bed while I was sitting watching TV. It was after midnight when I went to go to bed and decided not to disturb hubbies sleep and get in the other bed. The minute I moved the covers the smell of wet dog just about made me throw up. Now I’m in a predicament. I couldn’t call the front desk as I would definitely wake hubby up. Upon checking out the following morning, ( my birthday I must add ) the front desk clerk did not even ask how our stay was. Being my Birthday I just ended up not bringing it up as I didn’t want to add stress to my special day.

Good location but stuffy room burnt out lightbulbs

Pretty expensive for a mediocre room with poor air conditioning. Great parking area and easy access to the room. The mattress was uncomfortable. Good that there was lots of hot water for a bath. Towels are small and 2 of 3 lightbulbs in bathroom burnt out so very dark. The breakfast room does not get replenished after 8:00am so no creamer for coffee and no milk or yogurt. Best was that there was still fresh fruit. Dry toast no butter or peanut butter left. Rickie’s All Day Grill conveniently located next door.

Nice place to stay

My room was spacious with renovated bathroom! Room was very clean. I was surprised with variety of fresh fruits for breakfast. They were short staff on that day but the guy was so patient and polite , working in reception and refilling for breakfast!
