Great Location
Excellent location less than a mile from Vltava River and old town Prague. The famous Czech pub and beer garden U Fleku is located less than one block from the hotel. Hotel staff is very helpful and fluent in English, German and Czech. Our hotel room was large, clean and comfortable with two twin beds. Our only issue was with the room furnishings which appeared to be weathered dressers and bed frames from late 19th century. Some of the bulbs in the light fixtures were burned out. My great grandma had similar furnishings in her home in Bohemia. If traveling by car, parking in the streets is rarely available and the hotel underground garage costs 25 euros per day.

Excellent
Excellent hotel at central yet quiet location. 2 minutes walk to the river and 10 min. To old city center. Specious romms. Very good breakfast. We will certainly come back next time.

6/10 Good

Stayed for a few nights, and overall, experience was just okay. Had hoped to extend my stay for another week, but ultimately decided to find a hotel nearby with better facilities and, more importantly, better staff. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was a good size, which was a positive. However, the hotel is old and could benefit from some updates. It was semi-decent in terms of cleanliness—acceptable but not impressive. My experience with the room type was disappointing. I had specifically booked a double room but was given a twin room upon arrival. While I understand that mistakes can happen, the way the staff handled it was far from the level of hospitality I expected in the Czech Republic. Instead of offering a simple apology, I was blamed for the mistake, even though my booking clearly indicated a DOUBLE BED. The blame-shifting left a poor impression. Communication with this receptionist was especially negative—she was rude and condescending. This mirrored my experience with the online correspondence before my stay, where responses were unclear, and when I asked for clarification, the replies were equally unhelpful, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued guest. Overall, the hotel was adequate for what it offered—spacious rooms, basic amenities, and average experience. However, the mishandling of my room issue and the indifferent attitude of the staff detracted from what could have been a more positive stay.

Breakfast are extremely good, lots of choices with expensive big Nespresso machine in restaurant. Served from 7am. Big selection of tea/hot drinks, lots of cakes, danish pastries, salad bar, fresh fruit, cereals, non dairy milk, yoghurt, hot breakfast and big selection of bread rolls/slice bread....etc. Definite worth to have big breakfast here. Really enjoyed it. Room is very big and spacious apart of bright colour orange paint on the room. Shower is ok. Free shuttle bus from airport with hotel.com booking. 5 mins walk to Dancing house. Best Thai restaurant across the room. Staff is friendly and polite.

Absolutely EXCELLENT from the beginning. The staff on reception when we checked in were delightful. So welcoming and friendly and it’s the first time a property has ever recognised my hotels.com platinum status. I don’t ever expect it as I don’t really care, but the fact they made an effort and gave me a bottle of Prosecco and free access to their health spa was just such a lovely touch. It made me feel really special. The room was huge and so traditional for the area. It had everything I needed, nice cool AC, a huge bed and a lovely big bathroom with fresh towels and toiletries. The rooms and public areas are absolutely spotless. Immaculately bright and clean and the windows are triple glazed which offers peace and quiet at night. The hotel is perfectly situated for everything the city has to offer and is a short walk from the main station. I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in for years and was such a wonderful experience.

Lovely clean hotel set in an area that was great for getting around the parts of the city we wanted to explore. It has a retro feel that suits Prague well! Comfortable and pleasant room. Hanging space was a little limited and there was no coffee in the room but it was great for us otherwise. Would definitely recommend.

2/10 Poor

This property is old and dated. Although the pictures may look “vintage” and the property has a high rating, staying there was a very subpar experience. The AC technically works, but makes an annoying noise which disturbs sleep. When I asked the manager about it, they said it was common and that they were switching them out slowly. The tub was flooding from taking a normal shower, which is unhygienic and gross. The furniture was falling apart. And although it’s dishonestly rated as a high star property, when I mentioned the hotel to locals, they said it was comparable to a budget/seedy hotel. They need to do better and stop using platforms like Expedia to lure unsuspecting tourists there. Shame on you!

Overpriced stay at Caesar Prague.
I was surprised to find out that after paying on line a bit over $100 , at check in I was charged another $146 which also included parking fees for 1 night. When booked on line, they were talking about a small city tax fee due at check in. It turned out the $4 or so became well over $100. Over all, the place is not worty the price. Tv did not work and had to be replaced by maintenances people, but the old one was still left hanging. Don t recommend.
