Facility is under construction which may be the reason for a shower was rusty. Office chairs well worn beyond acceptable. Remote control was broken. Saw a bug possibly a roach on dresser. Concrete stairs and parking lot were very damaged

Hotel was dirty we didn’t get any maid services breakfast was terrible they have all these hidden fees because I have a dog. The pool was out of service but it wasn’t listed until like 1 day before our stay. There was construction noise until 10 pm front desk lady was rude and unfriendly. Overall I would not recommend

Don’t stay here

First off the hotel is under construction which was not posted online. Also this is a motel, not a hotel. Difference should be noted. The area was sketchy at best and gross. There were signs everywhere about vehicle theft. When I checked in I asked about the room and was told the room I thought I booked would be $600 a night and is not ready due to construction. Thats insane, I book the same type of room from other *actual* hotels for less than $300/night regularly. And she was watching some creepy gross murder show when I arrived, glad my young children stayed in the car while I checked in. When I got to the room she gave me a key for it didn’t hold 4 people per the listing, there were bugs, the room was dirty, the tv wasn’t working, and it simply would not work for any family for the night. Gross, in a horrible neighborhood, and staff was rude. Glad we left and just drove through the night, wasn’t worth bringing home bugs.

Rude personnel. And don’t arrive 2 hrs early!!!

I arrived from MS for an appointment at Vanderbilt Medical Center a couple of hours early. Upon entering, I asked lady at the desk, did they have any rooms available, she said yes. I then proceed to give her my reservation details, then she told me I had to wait until 3 pm… CST. Their check-in policy. Or I could ah e my room early for $50. I told her my appt was at 2:45 pm..I’d like to get settled in. Then I showed her where Laquinta had already charged $50 to my credit card HOURS before I got there, when I clearly stated when booking, that I’d pay at hotel. That’s a bad business practice. She blamed my bank. Smh. Anyway, I went my truck, called back to hotel and asked to speak to manager… UNAVAILABLE. My experience with her was so horrible, I asked when did she get off work. I asked because when I came back from doctors appt., I’d hoped NOT to deal with her. RUDE. And I was not going to lose my money on this reservation to go find another hotel, which I really wanted to do. So I left and went head to my appointment. A couple hours later I returned low and behold she was still there. The manager was not. I went ahead and checked in with no issues. But I was clearly ticked off from the early events. Common sense would’ve said two hours early for this traveler is not very long. I wasn’t about to give 50 extra dollars for two hours when I’ve only paying $70 for the whole night. A little common courtesy and decency surely would’ve been appreciated. Never again!!!!!

Not as advertised. I paid for 2 queens, the best were full-sized. Room was dirty, old blood spatter on the lamp shade between the bed. Human hair everywhere, dirty floors, smelly, cigarette burns and stale gross smell. They immediately refunded my deposit without doing their "room check" when I brought up how gross it was along with the weird charge to my card because they KNEW it was gross before hand. The literal best thing was that it didn't have bugs. I would have asked for another room had I not just drove 14 hours and got in at 2 am.

Sleeping is impossible if you work nights. The hotel is under construction so expect literal jackhammering outside your room, and the cleaning staff doesn't understand what "don't disturb" means. They charge outrageous prices for absolutely no rest or peace.

Horrible

Got into fight with Mario the night clerk I paid for king size bed. And called desk to check in and that we would be in late around 10pm. Mario told me when we arrived they are no kings size beds. I got upset. He said he could call the police and and have arrested for trespassing Talk to my wife apologized to Mario. Cancelled our reservation. Mario said we would receive full refund in 5 days.

MOLD

When we checked in, the first room we were assigned smelled like mildew. On closer inspection I found white fuzzy mold covering the back of the box springs facing the wall (photos attached). The front office staff moved us immediately to a newly renovated room that was beautiful but informed us that the old ones were the rooms purchased by third party hotel sites to rent cheap. In the new room, the TV was not connected to any satellite or internet. The “breakfast” consisted of waffles (which WERE good), Cheerios/Froot Loops, and white bread. While the second room we were assigned was satisfactory, it’s horrifying that the other rooms are still being rented in an inhabitable condition.

DON'T STAY HERE IF YOU EXPECT ANY HOT WATER.

In fairness, the hotel was being renovated. However, upon arrival I quickly realized this was not a ground up La Quinta that I've stayed with in the past. I believe it was an acquired property by Wyndham and rebadged La Quinta. We arrived late in the evening after an eight hour drive and If I had not prepaid for the stay, we would have sought accommodations elsewhere. The Good - Rooms were brand new. everything was clean. The Bad - Parking was chaotic because of all the material and equipment taking up a lot of space. The beds were ROCK HARD. I've slept on softer ground cover in the mountains. The next morning we discovered there was no hot water or water pressure to shower. You turn the faucet all the way to hot and water would not flow. The hot water was turned off. The light switch to the shower/toilet space was ON THE OUTSIDE of the space. The in-room coffee maker could not be plugged in because the furniture it was on was blocking the electrical outlet. This La Quinta should NEVER had been opened until it was completely remodeled and passed code inspection.

Make sure you request a newly renovated room! We had a brand new renovated room. Everything in the room was brand new and very clean. Smelled like paint a little bit after a few minutes of airing it out it was fine.The tv was new but hooked up wrong, but the guy came to fix it. Beds are hard and new but luckily we all ended up sleeping good on them. No dresser or drawers for clothing. They have nice staff. Lady at front desk was very nice, Hotel is under construction and lots of mess outside from that but nothing was noisy or loud. Included : Make your own hot waffles for breakfast, 3 cereal , juice, milk, bagels, toast, hot sausage links. Nice dining area. Great for travelers needing a rest

Property was under construction. Not a problem but the bathroom toilet was so close to the wall could barely use it.

Pool was not open. Front desk wanted to check the phone in our room shortly after checking in. Front desk woke us up at midnight to check the bathroom for a leak.

Excellent for the price

Great hotel close to Nashville zoo. They are in the middle of renovations so it's a little dusty but the new room is absolutely beautiful. Spacious, nice bed and beautiful bathroom and shower.
