It wasn't a bad stay, but of the three places I stayed on Kauai I liked this by far the least. So it's unlikely I would return.
On the positive side, It's in a decent location. The back is not very compelling, but at least you can enjoy a decent view and the waves coming in etc. Dining options were mostly non-existent, but there are some decent dining options across the street in a cool little shopping center.
My room was decent sized, It offered a medium sized fridge (with small freezer), along with plates, glasses, and paper towels. The wifi was pretty good, the tv was horrible, the bed was decent.
It's a 3-story property, and there are no elevators. Meaning that if you're on the 3rd floor, you'll be lugging your luggage up flights of stairs.
Parking was a bit of an issue, because they painted the parking lines too close together, causing some chaos as guests try to squeeze in between other cars.
It may be the only hotel that I've been to that DOES NOT OFFER ICE. Owch.
They offer the services of someone who supposidly can help you find and book activities. She seemed very disinterested, and turned out to be *completely useless*. She could literally find no activities in the categories that I wanted, but 15min spent on my laptop I found lots of options.
They also have a policy where they will never clean your room or refresh any supplies unless you specifically negotiate that.
