Hotel called and said we no longer have your selected room available. What? They said because room was booked through Hotels.com only "a room" was guaranteed, not the room I'd selected. They offered a free snack if we chose a different type room. I requested a credit for price difference ($50) which they finally agreed to. Upon arrival, the room was dirty, the shower moldy, furniture scratched, holes in carpet. I called desk and said, this room is filthy and should not even be rentable and requested a different room but they said, sorry last room, nothing we can do. I stay here 5-8 times a year if available booked through hotels.com but having 2nd thoughts about the hotel and using hotels.com for future travel if this is the kind of service that I can expect!
