10/10 Exceptional

We just stayed one night there on our road trip to Edward Prince, Ontario. The bed was so comfortable not like others were too soft. And you can't beat the price around the area. We also paid for the all you can eat breakfast before checking out next day.

The room was clean, our room was on the first floor and had a lake view with a walk out back door to the open area and beautiful view, the bed was a bit uncomfortable, but still good. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Oleksandra, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The property is very nice. It is quiet at night. It is less than 10 minute drive to Magog with many dining options. It is also less than 10 minutes to Orford national park where you can hike and kayak. It has a small lake where you can use the kayaks and canoes for free. The equipment is a little old, but plenty fine given it is free. There is also a hot tub and pool.

When visiting the Eastern Townships this fabulous hotel is our refuge. We love the grounds, amenities, restaurant and peaceful serenity. On our recent trip we stayed in a junior suite with a balcony and it did not disappoint. We’ll be back.

6/10 Good

Our family loved the natural environment and beautiful, green surroundings aroundthe hotel. Magog is a quiet, beautiful town and hotel is conveniently located. The hotel has spacious indoor spaces, rooms are ok. but maintenance has lagged behind, especially in shared areas, carpets are not clean. The towels are old and not looking/feeling fresh. Could use some improvement in these areas.
Peninah, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The location and view are fantastic. The only thing would have been for the restaurant to be open foe dinner and breakfast. It was part of our stay which we understand. Very beautiful

Room was clean. Very satisfied
Kwok Kin, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel itself was good. My room was great. I had a room with a fireplace and they provided a log- so that was really nice. I especially chose this hotel because of the jacuzzi- so I was really looking forward to that. The jacuzzi and pool area were really nice. The problem arose when a group of children came to the pool area. Apparently every weekend, this hotel takes in hockey groups- which they don’t mention anywhere before booking. Once I checked in for the room, then they sent me an email with this message: “Please note that the hotel occupancy during the weekends is mainly from groups and hockey teams. It means noisier and more clients using our facilities. So, complaints are not accepted.” So the jacuzzi area, which has a sign stating that it’s a quiet area outside, was loud- very loud, with a bunch of kids playing and yelling. No adults around and I wasn’t allowed to complain since they said so “after” I booked. That should be mentioned before people book- no after. Not everyone is interested in hearing screaming children. I have a child too- I took a weekend getaway for myself and expected to get a bit of peace and quiet for a day. So that was an expected disappointment.
Yanick, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The property is nice but the buildings need some TLC. Our AC unit made a very load knocking noise - not usable. I called the front desk for help and was told to turn it off. Fortunately, the evenings were cool enough to open the sliding door and cool the room. We were on a higher floor so I was too worried about safety. Not sure I would stay here again. The property and the surrounding area are beautiful.
Gene, 2-night trip

Non Smoking Room Smelled of Smoke

Unfortunately, our non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke. I suspect it used to be a smoking room, and more renovations are needed to remove the smell. The room was well cleaned, and there was no evidence of a cigarette having been used in it recently. I played nine holes of golf. The Course was in good shape, and the staff was helpful. However, they didn't have a restaurant or bar where I could order drinks or sit around after the round, so I bought cans and sat on our room balcony instead. Ate at the restaurant. The food was ok, but the sauces and sides did not match the description on the menu. They were hosting a couple of events that night, so I suspect they simply used the sauces etc, that were being used for these events instead of the ones on the menu.
