There was a construction going on in the hotel at morning and making a lot of noisy. I found this to be unacceptable. If I were told that there will be construction in the hotel, I will never choose this hotel. I felt like betrayed.

noisy appliances 24/7 in room
Loud refrigerator and heating system. The whole room kept buzzing loud noises all night long from the fridge or central heater . I prefer no fridge bc their fridge is so loud and disturbs your sleep.

Great place to stay!
This was my second time staying at Kasa Niche. It did not disappoint. The rooms are modern, and CLEAN! The room price is very reasonable for such a nice hotel/room. I also like the ease of checking in via text and the ease of communicating with the staff via text. During both of our stays we saw the property manager right there making sure things were as they should be and showing genuine concern to the guests to ensure their stay is/was enjoyable.

High-tech, low-impact
Self check-in. Remote front desk that did not deliver service effectively. I did not receive check-in instructions as I was told, needed to call customer service. Split unit in the room did not work well and the room remained cold. I wore a bunch of clothes in order to sleep comfortably. I asked for an extra blanket and did not hear back from remote front desk for over an hour, after I sent several text messages. No dedicated parking. No closet.

Party time Downtown Redwood City
If you are looking for the Redwood City downtown party time hotel then checkout Kasa Niche. This is a great central spot. Every room is provided with ear plugs because the hotel walls anre very thin annd it is located downtown Redwood City.Plus the parking can be a challenge but do not give up. The lodgings are very simple and to the point. The rooms are very small and cozy. The room that I stayed in was very cold and I noticed that the bathroom window was open. It had a small sign - Please do not open the window. The previous lodger probably did not see the small sign. I would like to suggest to make the sign bigger and not matching the color of the window. In addition the Keruig was not working but luckily they have coffee in the main waiting lounge. Overall, it’s cute and to the point.
