Service needs not addressed
Although it was clean inside and staff was friendly, there was a major issue with the door. Even though it was green, cannot open it unless you pulled the handle in and the push off the door with your whole body to open. That’s what we learned to do. The staff was notified at check in at about 4 pm and had to help us get in. Staff said will make a note for maintenance to work on the door. The next day, the day staff also noted that the door maintenance need had been entered twice. However the door did not get fixed. We always had to have one person inside to let the other person in just in case. Second, on the day we were supposed to check out, the key already did not work after breakfast at 9am, even though check out was 11. We had to have it re-activated. When we went to the staff to get it re-activated, the staff was cleaning off a few tables in the breakfast room. She asked us to wait until she had finished cleaning the tables. Although the cleaning didn’t take long, that’s not what good customer service should look like. Customers should we first, especially when there was no one in the breakfast room.
