I booked a room with 2 queen beds for an overnight for 4 adults and 1 child. I received a confirmation from Hotels.com AND the hotel confirming a room with 2 queen beds. When we arrived, the room was suddenly a “suite,” with 1 king bed and a pullout couch. Upon checking our room, the pullout couch was not made up. We pulled it out AND THE MATTRESS WAS FILTHY. Also, bedside lamp covered in dust and rust. So we asked for the room that was originally confirmed, with 2 queen beds. At that point I was told I had booked a room with a king (I still have the confirmation from Hotels.com AND the Travelodge, which show 2 queens) and all the crappy place could do was move us to another room. So we checked the other room. When we walked in, an employee was LAYING on the couch. Pulled that couch out, still not good, but we felt there was little we could do. Couch still not made up AND not enough towels for 4 adults, so on the way out to enjoy Milwaukee, we asked for bedding and towels. At least we got those-dumped on the table in the room. Couch NEVER made up, even though we were 4 adults who had asked for 2 beds. Towels also dumped on table, not put in bathroom. And, for the record, pullout couch was crap. Travelodge and Wyndham bait and switch-DO NOT TRUST THEM, DO NOT BOOK THEM.
