Nice, short getaway
The Hotel Posada Real was comfortable, VERY relaxing and peaceful. The food ranged between average and good, depending on what night it was. The hotel staff were friendly, but be warned...upon arrival, they have you sit with the concierge who then talks to you about timeshares, so you can politely say "no gracias". Also, the beach located on the property is not great...you actually have to walk down off of the beach property, and to be honest, it's not great. There are other beaches not too far away, such as Playa El Chileno, which is much, much better.

Gathering with family and friends
The hotel is in a fabulous location close to restaurants and stores. We could walk everywhere, even to thee center of San Juan. (we like to walk)Besides needing a good sprucing up, paint, new, comfortable mattresses and pillows, it's charm and small number of rooms made it easy to navigate the property. It's like the old motels of the 50s and 60s.The staff was very friendly, always happy and the service very attentive and professional. The breakfast buffet was really good with a wide variety of juices, pastries and every breakfast type of food you'd want. The hotel was clean but needed a paint job, comfortable mattresses, new pillows and a much faster Internet!!.

wonderful
the hotel was wonderful reception and every staff person was helpful, friendly, helpful and genuinely gracious. the room and balcony were nice. bed was hard (only negative if that is an issue with you). clean! room older furniture but was just very nice, It was absolutely a gem of smaller resort making it so quick to get to beach, pool, front deck, restaurant, etc. no wait times ever anywhere. entertainment was mediocre however it is noted the hotel did care to offer local specialties. pool and swim up bar was very nice. beachfront. had to walk a bit to get to the water. chairs plentiful. outside food by bar was quick and good. breakfast and dinner was different every day/night and was plentiful, tasty, and definitely mexican🙌 we did all inclusive and worth every penny! ever staff member worked very hard at their job to make sure we had a fabulous three day stay. fyi: taxi (no uber allowed) from airport 19 min $ 45-55 uber to airport $15 uber to/from cabos san lucas marina 40 min ride. $30-40 can book excursions at the desk. we did glass boat. loved it! $60 each person they pick up and drop off at hotel 🙌

Location was nice. Pool and beach were nice. Property was clean. The property is a bit dated and the beds were hard and horrible. Overall a decent experience but certainly not the 4* hotel that Expedia advertised.

If you want a vacation away from the hussle and bussle, but right on the beach with a great swimming pool, then this is the place. Danya on the front desk is beyond patient and helpful with all your needs. Our daily cleaner, Antonia, is also always cheerful and again, helpful with little needs. The Activity directors are not pushy, but try hard to get you invovled in their activities. We only take breakfast here as there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The local bus, the Urbano, stops on the road at the entrance and takes you downtown. The hotel may be old, one of the first on the beachfront, but they are constantly upgrading it. The Internet is very good. You can ask for a room with a small fridge to keep your libations cool! We will always return to stay here.
