I stayed there a few months ago, everything was going fine until check out time. Check out time is 11am, around 9:30 my family and i realize we had too much food that was in the room and refrigerator. We went to a nearby grocery store, before leaving the hotel I noticed the housekeeper a few rooms away. I stopped and told him, “we were not checking out” just yet, we’re going to buy staroform ice chest to pack all my food and my daughter’s medicine who has sickle cell!! The house keeper acknowledged my every word. About 30 to 40 minutes we returned to a clean room, and EVERYTHING was in the garbage. About $80 worth of food, and my daughter medication as well….. I was very upset to say the least. The house keeper was still in the room answering my question with, “me no speak no English “, “me no speak no English “ etc… a few days later the manager called me, apologizing. He promised to mail me a gift card in the amount of $75 dollars to cover the cost of the lost food. I thought that was very kind, but it’s been almost 2 months later, and i NEVER received the gift card… I was lied too!! And I’ll never stay there again! I had so much food I had promised to bring back for people, some who paid me in advance!!! That I had to pay back…Ridiculous!!
