Sleepless in Goswell House

We were greeted by a man who made us feel like he was not happy we were there. He never smiled, spoke the directions too fast as if we had been there before. He then said we had a choice of a first room floor or third (no lift). The first room floor is apparently near a Pub with live music until 3am so, we opted for the third floor. This was also a mistake, because of the amount of luggage we had. He assured us if we did not note the front door code we would not be able to re-enter after 530pm as it is unattended. After going to bed around 9pm, about 130am, the other guests on our floor returned, very loud, slamming doors, banging on doors, up and down the hall. Finally about 330am my husband opened our door to find a young man with beer in hand, talking loud and entering the rooms across from ours. He asked him to keep it down. The door slamming never stopped. We were flying a back to the states the next day and did not get any sleep on that flight either. I will never stay here or any unattended hotel again. There is no one to make sure the guests are being courteous.

Este não é só um hotel, é um abraço repleto de amor fraterno que recebemos na Inglaterra. São pessoas que trabalham com afeto ao se propor a receber pessoas de todo mundo. O Hotel fica a 1 minuto do Castelo, é super bem localizado, limpissimo, bem cuidado. Eles têm respeito e consciência da responsabilidade social. O preço é bom e você é muito bem recebido, você e sua família serão muito bem recebidos.

This property was spacious, tastefully decorated, and clean. We loved our stay. It is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, Windsor Castle, and the train station. We were able to leave our bags in a locked closet until our room was ready. I felt very safe here. The girl on call when you check in was absolutely delightful. So sweet and friendly. One of my favorite people I met during my travels in the UK. I wish I'd gotten her name. She is a true gem. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Goswell House in Windsor. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the town and just a short walk from Windsor Castle. Despite arriving late, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, thanks to the clear instructions provided by the host. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, making for a restful night. I highly recommend Goswell House for anyone looking to stay in central Windsor!

No wifi

Hi had a nice weekend in Windsor. Hotel was clean but no internet. Asked twice to remedy which did not happen if you advertise with wifi you should make sure it works as I needed for work. . Shower power was weak. Nice comfy bed.
