This hotel is the epitome of putting lipstick on a pig. It’s still a pig. They have (or are in the process of) renovating this hotel. But it being done so poorly. The toilet is super low to the ground. Not ideal for anyone over 50. The toilet paper roll is installed nearly on the ground. And, it is falling off the wall. They just tried to screw it into the drywall. Shocker! It has fallen off. They sprayed heavy texture on the walls, but they didn’t remove or cover the light switch plate. So it’s been partially sprayed, too. They did use blue tape to cover the latch plate. But the tape hadn’t been removed. They put in bedside lights with an outlet, but they are plugged into the outlet below so there is still only two outlets available (and they’ve plugged the clock into one of them). In the second room we had, the toilet seat was only attached on one side so it slides all over. And the toilet lid cover isn’t the correct size so it doesn’t fit at all. Plus, the toilet doesn’t flush properly so you have to reach in the tank to fix the float so it’ll stop running water. The room has very little usable flat space for putting things. There was a “bench” by the window that was placed over the top of the bench that’s over the air conditioner unit. But their is a huge open area next to the mirror and plug and no where to set anything. If you want to use the outlet for a hairdryer, makeup, putting on jewelry, or anything, you have to just set it all on the floor.
