The pictures online are very deceiving. I picked this resort oceanfront so I could walk right out to the beach and that was not the case. There were rocks on the beach that are not in the picture. You could not walk to the beach. I understand whether can affect the landscape of the beach however, the picture should not be posted as such.

Overrated for the price but okay
Our first room had mold in the bathroom so we changed to a different room on day 2. Impressed that the bathroom shower was regrouped right away and ready for a new guest. We had an ocean front room overlooking the beach which was great. However, at least half of beach front rooms did not have a white sandy beach but very large rocks, making the beach and sea inaccessible. There were 5 reservable restaurants . 2 were good, 1 okay and 2 we didn't like. Just our personal tastes. The breakfast and lunch buffets were fine, good selections. Dinner buffet was at the Divi side of the resort so we never went. Although there is a shuttle to take you there if you want. We did take the shuttle to go to 2 restaurants on that side of the resort. It's quick so shouldn't be a deterrent. There is only 1 coffee shop and it's at Divi. I really think they should have one at Tamarijn too. Bar food is okay, as you would expect. Drinks are good.

Overpriced food and difficult to navigate
Booked this resort after it was chosen for my friend's 50th birthday trip. The food was very subpar, particularly breakfast and lunch, and dinner options could be broader...esp for the price you pay for an all inclusive dining package. We ended up eating off the resort a lot.more than I would have expected. I also felt the concierge was a haul to get to from our room and there was no way to speak with them about booking things in an eassier way, like chat or phone. It was not any easy resort to get in touch with outside of walking across the property to have an in-person conversation.

Food leaves a lot to be desired. Quite a pricy hotel for such bad food. Pool too small for such a large facility Worst of all, they show pictures and advertise rooms in the lower floor where one can walk straight to the beach. Not true at all! There is NO beach. We had to wait for the golf cart to go to the Divi every time we wanted to go to the beach. “Bait and switch”

The property has a great beach area in front of some rooms, and love the options to go to Divi hotel for other food restaurants. Just be careful when booking your room that you don’t think all the rooms walk out to the beach, because many have rocks in front of the rooms. Still a great view though. Liked the free shuttle service between the hotels.

The staff was nice, however, our shower was never hot. Further, we had theft in our room while I was sleeping and my husband was outside in the lounge chairs about 10 ft from the room - very unsettling. The hotel refunded the $275 in fraud charges from our debit card stolen. At $600 a night and my safety in question I do not feel it was a fair compensation. Will visit Aruba again, but will not be staying at the Tamarjin.
