No shampoo or shower gel in shower. Had to call to reception and they brought it up. Thank you. Checking in late at night receptionist never went through breakfast times or hotel info.

The room was lovely and the kettle and iron were much appreciated but I couldn't close the window on the second night when the temperature outside dropped (only realised this once in bed so too late to call for assistance). Can't comment on the bar or restaurant but the location is convenient and the staff were lovely so would stay again if in the area.

First time guest, friday night

We arrived and were greeted at reception by a very friendly staff member, check in was quick and we went straight to our room. The hotel looked busy with lots of people around the reception. The room was clean but very warm when we went inside. The air conditioning worked very well to cool it down. We went to the bar for a drink and the staff there were very friendly too. We booked a local restaurant for dinner and asked reception to book a taxi for us. The taxi arrived a few minutes early but we were ready and waiting. When we came back from Dinner we had a nightcap and there was a guy playing guitar in the bar. It was very entertaining. Breakfast was busy but the food was lovely. Check out was very efficient also. The only downside for us was the shower and the flow of water from the head. It was very very poor, there are two settings on the raindrop head but both were as bad as each other.

Nice stay. Big hotel and some of the carpets are looking very tired and dirty. Also a bit strange at breakfast as you need to queue to have the cook place pre cooked hot food on your place. Not sure why you can’t serve yourself given it meant I had to wait several minutes at the buffet- apart from that small issue, a very nice stay

Clean but horrible staff attitude

Travel several times / month and first time I write a review - I am not the complaining type - future travelers should know. So unless you are into an expensive breakfast with carbs only, are ont being bossed around like a small child, and ready to leave the restaurant hungry and sad, I would choose another hotel. Ok rooms, very limited breakfast - basically only a minimum selection of Irish breakfast, sweet yoghurt and carbs. Ran out of cheese both mornings even if I was there when they opened, the only person working the breakfast buffet basically threw me a bowl of plain yogurt when I politely asked - making it very clear that I was a bother. The staff in the restaurant was very rude rude - I needed to work but in spite of me politely asking for a table along the wall I was basically told they were not for the likes of me (CEO, Swedish mature businesswoman in a suit asking politely) and I was only given the option of one of the two smallest tables where the computer barely fit. When I politely asked the manager to assist me so I could sit at one of the 15 empty tables along a wall, his response was ”I am sorry you were offended” - that is not an apology.

4/10 Fair

I don’t think I’ve ever really given a poor review, but I’m a bit cheesed off after staying at this hotel. I did raise all issues upon check out, but was met with a bit of a ‘oh well’, which has led me here. 2 night business trip stay. - mattresses are literally the most basic there is. Super uncomfortable. - pillows are very basic 1” thick and well used. - I had no hot water for 1 evening/1 morning (50% of stay). Turns out no one did, but no communication so stood there trying to run a shower for ages hoping it would get hot. It didn’t. Just slide a bit of paper under the door to let me know like any other hotel. - breakfast is the cheapest, most basic quality food. It’s a buffet but served to you by a guy who literally threw it all on the plate in a big pile, massive inconvenience for him. - raised issues on check out, especially about the water, and wasn’t even told it was a problem. I only knew from speaking to other guests at breakfast. Was met with a bit of a ‘oh well’. The only good thing is the on site restaurant- really decent food! Must be independent from the breakfast. Food was great, good service and choice of beers.

Great hotel

Lovely stay. Was at an event in the hotel and since Dublin is now so dangerous it was safer to book into the hotel than risk going through the city centre to get home.

We had a lovely time and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had left an item of importance in the safe but managed to get in touch with a member of staff who asked security to retrieve it until we came back to pick it up. All no bother to the staff. Thank you.
