Staff was very nice and helpful, but food and drink service was beyond slow. 10 minute wait just for water and drinks, 30mins + for any food. We ate at the restaurant for 2 dinners and 1 breakfast and service was extremely slow and it was off season here in August 2025.Food was pretty expensive and drinks lacking alcohol. The place needs alot of fixing up. Pool tile is falling apart, doors in lobby dont work, you have to open on your own. All around needs maintenance everywhere.

Staff was friendly. My TV didn’t work the first night, but someone came and fixed it. We had the king suite with the ocean view, which was nice. They cleaned my room every day.

The property was on the beach front and made it very easy to go for a swim. If you stay here please get a rental. The taxis will charge you $17-$20 dollars one way and it's is not a very walk friendly area so you will need to get another taxi. Also, there is no laundry on the property so you will have to find a laundromat in the city to wash clothes. Several of the places in St Thomas do not take Amex and majority prefer cash.

The property was close to the airport and had a parking lot for our rental car. It was a quiet property, besides the air planes, which was good and bad. The pool is very nice and the beach is clean and beautiful. The rooms had good views but were very basic and there was a very old tiny fridge. The bathroom mirrors were awesome, but the shower had very, very low pressure, there was no water when we first checked in for our vacation. And besides the mirror and sink everything else was dated. The whole resort could use a bit of updating. But all in all we didnt spend a lot of time there, so it was fine for my family. The people were nice enough, but not overly friendly. The one resturant and "bar" is all outside and the bar was closed by 10. Not many activities on property to do. The cafe though had excellent coffe! And the gift shop was very reasonably priced. We would stay here again, but aim for a better room than the one we got this time.

Yes! It’s a little dated, but the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the service was great, resort staff was friendly. Shenice , I’m pretty sure I butchered her name was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

I am definitely coming back to St. Thomas, but NOT staying here again. Pros: -The beach was steps away, with available chairs and umbrellas. -The coffee hut and the young man that worked there. Very courteous. Cons: -The staff (housekeeping/front desk/bartenders) are not friendly. It was as if we were an inconvenience to them. Major turnoff. The added service fee to the bar/restaurant I'm sure is the contributing factor to the rudeness. -The property is not clean/well maintained. -The room was dated, but in decent condition. However, there were no drawers or place to store clothes, which I thought was odd. -The biggest con of all is that the restaurant closed for two days, with nothing else walking distance, that was frustrating. I understand things come up, however, there was no communication from the hotel. I asked the bartender, and her snarky response was "no food today." It was just rude and unnecessary.

I think the resort needs a lot of work this isn’t a resort it’s a hotel on the beach. Speaking of beach the beach caters to the cruise people over the hotel guest. The restaurant and bar opens when it’s wants to open not when it says it’s opened I was there for a week and the place was never opened for breakfast as advertised. 1 day it didn’t even open at all. And when it it opened it doesn’t even serve the food on the menu. This is not a resort at all this is a hotel on the beach. It has no activities for its guest and like I said prior it caters to cruise people in ver the hotel guest themselves. I will go back to Saint Thomas but I’ll never go back to emerald beach resort. Oh and before I forget they even turned the water off in the hotel without even notice

There was no information from Expedia regarding what room we were staying in. When we left the airport it was like a hellscape. Many of the buildings on St. Thomas are completely abandoned and covered in mold. The ones that are remaining are in terrible condition. The roads are narrow, falling apart and they drive on the opposite side of the road. Combining that with the most aggressive drivers I've ever seen and an abundance of people milling around That looked homeless or desperate I would have to say this was the biggest disappointment I've ever experienced on a vacation. This was my son's graduation trip and I had to buy additional tickets and pay for an additional room near the airport just to be able to leave the following day.
