Nice resort
It is our first time at the hotel, we made the reservation through hotels.com, we really loved it, they have activities every day during the day and night. L I have some things to emphasize. The food at the buffet should be more hot, it seemed a little cold to me. it would be a good idea for the guests to be given an activity of what the gym will be doing every day. We went to the Michael Jackson show, the sunset beach party and the pool party, all three of them were spectacular. The resort has three a la carte restaurants but we couldn't try them every time we tried to make a reservation as they were full. Some tips: Always check the board by one of the pool to be aware of what activities are going out every day. Congratulations for the service and especially the entertainment team, always very attentive, they even pass by offering towels while you are in the pool listening to a man play the guitar Here I share some photographs of our Star

Poca honestidad
Elegimos este hotel porque anunciaba que contaba con 5 restaurantes, noches temáticas y shows. En la realidad el hotel está en remodelación. Las instalaciones de 3 de los 5 restaurantes que anuncian no están disponibles. De los que quedaban 1 era sólo para socios. La calidad de los alimentos es PÉSIMA. La carne súper dura, fría y excesivamente condimentada. Los postres de plano sólo son azúcar, sin ningún otro sabor, aunque eso sí, con muchísimos colorantes. El mobiliario está viejo, manchado o de plano roto, los camastros no cuentan todos con colchoneta, y estas estan sucias y con manchas de humedad. Es una lástima que la ADMINISTRACIÓN no esté al pendiente de estos detalles (calidad de los alimentos, estado del mobiliario, falsa publicidad) porque el servicio de los empleados demerece, siendo que ellos son excelentes y dan su mejor esfuerzo. De verdad, hacen milagros con las malas instalaciones y mala calidad de los insumos con los que tienen que trabajar.

Was not told by the hotel or Expedia that two out of the 7 restaurants were closed for renovation and a further two restaurants were only open to members (time share holders). So this limited us to the Buffett restaurant (lovely food) and the remaining two restaurants we had to queue from 7am in order to make a reservation. The 3 we were able to use in total were fantastic. Renovation work on the property did come with some noise up until 9pm and on 1 day due to cutting concrete it came with a lot of dust.

Everything in this resort was wonderful. Selection of food and restaurants was a bonus. Toiletries were lacking. The lack of shampoo/conditioner or soap was a bit disappointing. Overall it is a 4**** and was disappointed. Great place for families with children. Lots of activities for children.

This was our second time at this hotel. We got a suite this time and it was incredible! The room was perfect for our family. The hotel itself was beautiful as always. There are some renovations happening so our restaurants were a little limited but I'm sure things will be great when the renovations are complete. The entire staff are super friendly and helpful. The gym was amazing, it had everything you could want. We did our laundry here before leaving & the machines worked very well. Will definitely return for another visit!

Hotel muy lleno y rebasado para atender bien
Había largas filas para el desayuno, tuve que ir a otro lugar a desayunar y bañar porque el hotel se quedó sin agua; entiendo que pueden pasar este tipo de situaciones pero no estaban preparados ; largas filas para hacer check out; la alberca llenísima; no sé si me tocó mala fecha para ir pero yo no pude disfrutar del hotel con tanta gente ; deberían estar preparados para resolver esto si el hotel tiene capacidad para tanta gente; eso si el staff siempre amable y con buena disposición, instalaciones bonitas en general con mantenimiento, el frigobar no funcionó nunca. Agrego foto de la fila para entrar a desayunar

Marival emotions was a perfect get away for our family! Very family friendly resort with a lot of options. Activities and options for most. Food was average, but great for what I’d expect when they’re feeding hundreds of people at once. Staff are very friendly. Resort is beautiful. Ocean front room is definitely worth it, except when you see a wedding being set up as it goes very loudly to 11pm, but we appreciated the sharp 11pm quiet. Kids pool area was amazing and the quieter pool options were great too. Kids buffet is a very nice touch (dinner only) and kids activities/shows (although 8:30pm was very late for us). Special restaurants had great food, service and options. Beach club was worth every extra penny to have amazing service, views and a different food options. Negatives were there was mega construction going on at the time with almost constant work often starting early and going late into the night (jack hammering and very loud working). With construction there was only one special restaurant operating and rotating types nightly.there also seemed to be a lot of day passes at the pool which made for weird experiences as these people often were careless about the rules or overall well-being of others/ the resort as they were just in and out. Overall, would stay here again and recommend to families.

The majority of the restaurants were closed. And the one next to the beach (snacks) that was open last year, this time was exclusively for members only. Or they were asking you to pay a pass of $3,000 pesos ($150 dollars) per person to use these exclusive facilities. Also, the kid’s pool was closed due to renovation and for this reason parents were bringing their kids to the jacuzzi, creating a chaos and security didn’t enforce the “only for adults” or over 18 years policy. So, we had a bad experience every time we wanted to relax on the jacuzzi. I was highly disappointed. And to make matters worse, the check out desk moved to another building without informing the guests causing long lines, and a lot of confusion. The worst vacation ever since I started visiting this hotel 5 years ago.

Pesimo servicio del check in hable con un supervisor segun de ellos de lentes chavo no muy grande Grosero altanero me trato pesimo Marque abtws de ir y si llegas temprano te cobran llegue alas 240 para que alas 3 me dieran mi habitacion y me tuvieron ahi esperando hora y media hasta las 430 me dieron mi habitacion me querian cobrar extra por darmela antes ya me iba a dar reembolso de mi dinero en lugar de facilitar mi a Habitacion una desagradable experiencia no recomiendo nada este hotel por ese tipo de empleados el primero que te atiende y asi ya llegas con la moral baja
