Great property!!! A very "boutique" like feel to this hotel tucked away on a hill top in a residential neighbourhood. My wife and I planned this getaway without our kids and were looking forward to some quiet time. This property checked off all the boxes....great rooms, very clean, amazing "R & R" around the pool area and outstanding staff (service).
For us, the location was great: close to golf:). It was a good 30 minutes to get into the heart of Scottsdale, but this was okay for us as we only ventured into town once for dinner. Weren't really planning on shopping on this trip, so didn't really matter that we were a bit further away. There are a lot of people who come to Scottsdale for the night life who stay in the heart of the action which is fine, but if you wanted a break from all the action, the Adero will serve you well.
As expected, this hotel was pricier than others, but you get what you pay for. Not thrilled about the valet parking, but this seems to be the norm in a lot of cities in the US now. I figure, if you are going to pay $400 per night for a hotel, expect a resort fee and parking fees....
Hotel was kid friendly: pool, games room, tennis, pickle ball & outdoor play area. We didn't bring out kids and probably wouldn't as I think the all-inclusives are more suited for my family.
Already planning on coming back next year!
