The hotel is in a great part of town—close to Market Square and within walking distance of the Riverwalk. The property itself is nice, and the location is very convenient. However, we experienced several issues during our stay.
1. Check-in Error & Poor Service
At check-in, I handed the front desk my credit card, but they charged the card on file from the booking site instead. While mistakes happen, my wife also received unhelpful and discourteous responses when asking basic questions about breakfast.
2. Empty Shower Dispensers
The body wash and shampoo dispensers were empty. Front desk staff said nothing could be done because housekeeping had left for the day. Basic amenities should always be stocked.
3. Poorly Repaired Tub/Shower
The tub/shower had been repaired poorly. Water pooled in the center, and I stepped into leftover cold water from the previous guest.
4. No Housekeeping Service
We received no housekeeping—beds weren’t made, trash not removed, toiletries not replenished. When we requested supplies in person, staff suddenly had access, contradicting prior explanations.
This hotel has potential and a great location, but service and management issues significantly impacted our stay. I cannot recommend it unless you need a place in an emergency.
