I checked in after midnight due to a late flight and was very disappointed with my stay. There were stains on the walls and baseboards, a strong mold smell, dents and holes in the drywall, a stain on the ceiling, a broken shower handle, and a damaged window. I did not feel comfortable staying there, but it was too late to find another option.
To add to the bad experience, the hotel later double-charged a higher rate after leaving. When I contacted, they said I hadn’t paid even though I already paid on Hotels.com (which there was no mention of an issue or charge at the desk while checking in). It took time to resolve, and I’m grateful Hotels.com provides a receipt.
