Located in a not so upscale part of the town/outskirt of Athens, but the building itself is fairly new and room large and comfy, as well as super conveniently close to the international airport which was one of the main reasons we picked this hotel for a 6 AM departure. The free shuttle and its driver was reliable and good too.
Getting to Athens city center is simple too. Uber ride of about $10 to the Metro station and hop on the subway all the way to central Athens. The station is shared by subway and regional trains, similar to some stations back home, so it was important to get on the right one. We rushed and got on a reginal train, but quickly realized it. The transit police and staff were very helpful and suggested modified routes, then we simply just got off the train a couple stations later to switch to the subway.
Also, there is good family-run restaurant across the road from the hotel, and it was pretty good for gyros and such.
Overall, a good stay, safe, quiet, and convenient, just don't expect upscale feel.
