Clean hotel but needs renovation
Check in was easy and efficient. Car parking was easy. The entrance requires some work as the carpet was quite shabby. Our room was clean but in need of renovation. We did not eat here. A 10 minute walk to amenities within Te Anau.

Good value
Our room was great. Clean and comfortable. And the staff were lovely. Edgar and his wife were interested in us and generous towards us. The hotel shows its age a bit, with signs of former facilities no longer in use, and carpets a bit torn. But dont let that put you off. If you choose to have breakfast, its excellent.

La chambre était propre et la literie était bonne, mais c'est tout. Tout le reste était vieux, l'hôtel, le resto, le wifi qui marché 1 fois sur 2 , pas de clim, les chambres étaient des fours. Le ventilateur sur pied ne suffisait pas pour toute la chambre.

Two nights
Great motel with a common area offering tables, microwave, toaster etc with also pool table, table tennis, foozball. Rooms were ok but the shower head was a bit crazy as it sprayed sideways rather than on you but that could be just our room. The bed was rather trampoline like with a centre roll but was just about bearable. Other than that, it was nice.

DONT STAY HERE
Please don’t stay here, it’s nasty and outdated…I don’t mind old hotels but this was a nasty place with no up keeps, room was disgusting and smelled bad and even hallways were nasty and carpet was ripped.. looks like this hotel owner doesn’t put any money back in hotel.
