We really enjoyed our stay at Carpe Diem hotel. The location of the hotel in Old Town was excellent, and super walkable to everything we wanted to see. The charm and location can't be beat. The welcoming and caring staff made it an excellent stay. We enjoyed our breakfast and views from our room. We parked at the port, and walked about 10 minutes with our luggage to get to the hotel. This was no problem for us. The car can't get there directly. We also found the area around the hotel to be noisy - though that's what you get for staying in the centre of old town! It wasn't a problem - though I'm glad I brought earplugs for sleeping. Overall we found this to be a great hotel and location with all the charm we wanted from our Nafplio visit!

First want to state that Nafplio is an absolute gorgeous little town & this darling boutique hotel sits right in the middle of the best area! As soon as you step outside the hotel, You are transported into quintessential beauty. The rooms (although small for USA travelers) have been designed and layed out for immense comfort and accommodations. Hotel is new. Everything fresh and excellent quality. Added bonus was the included amazing “made to order” breakfast! The hostess whom greeted us upon check in was kind & informative. I highly recommend this spot.

The property has been upgraded so everything is pretty new. However, the room is small and the shower is tiny. Breakfast is good, lots of selection and cooked well. The location is convenient but can get noisy at night, it's located in the middle of town. We got woken up the middle of the night when a man started yelling in English (must be a tourist). I am giving it a 2 because there are some obvious small things missing: - no water boiler/coffer maker in room, or anywhere in the property. - only 2 paper cups in the room. Usually I expect a cup (for coffee/tea, which is missing too) and a glass. - the shower is small and the shower door doesn't close very tight;y, leaking water to outside. - the first night we were there, there were only 1 body towell with 2 hand towell (and no face towell). I just feel a lot of the shortcomings is due to housekeeping, easily fixable.
