I mistakenly booked this Ramada thinking it was the nice one in Kearny Mesa which has a big pool, green landscaping and great location for nearly the same price. This property is very unappealing to look at, the pool is pathetically small and dirty overlooking a dismal street. The room was cramped and had a claustrophobic view of the inside parking structure of a dismal hotel. Meager little air conditioning unit that blasted you in the face on one bed and the other was to far away to get a whiff of the dank air coming out of it. Customer Service was pretty sad as well, a cursory greeting and then glazed over look in the eye. Food? for breakfast was those little vile packages of preservative ridden snack cakes(cheapest ones you can find), flavorless waffle batter and some cereal that you get in those giant bags that somehow are stale before the air hit them.Worst was the coffee? I’m no connoisseur, not even picky, just allow me to recognize that I’m drinking coffee and I’m good, not sure what this stuff was. For $150-$200 a night on the weekend you could find better, if not, spend an extra $25 and avoid staying at a dive.
