Check-in went smoothly but once up in the room it was clear the revamp from an older hotel was expedited. Just drab gray everywhere with landlord style paint over everything. Very disappointing that we were unable to produce hot water out of the shower or the sink no matter how long we let it run. Tried the restaurant for dinner and disappointed again. Service was exceptionally slow. With irritable kids at the table from a day of travel, the extra time to seat, order, and receive food despite only 2 other customers, was agitating. Sadly, the food was mediocre at best. The listed car charger is not available and parking is a long walk.

Accommodations were fine. I expected more from a Sheraton. The bathroom was TINY. The room, overall was okay and was clean. The bar closed at 10pm on a Saturday, which we found odd.

Nice low key hotel
I love the hotel it has been several years since I have stayed there it was my main stay back in the day. The showers could use an upgrade. But a great place to stay if your looking for quiet and relaxing place.

What stands out the most is the front desk staff. They are AMAZING. However, we stayed two nights but the rooms were not cleaned, the shower makes a lot worse of noise at a certain temperature, and the bathroom is very small

Staff was very friendly especially the server in the grill on the morning of October 5, 2024. He was really proud of the new waffle makers in the buffet. Awesome!

Water issues
We only stayed one night, but you might want to run the water in the rooms before people stay. I turned the water on at the sink and it came out brown in color and the same thing with the shower and the toilet plunger was stuck and would fill the tank . I fixed it but most people would not. Otherwise all was good.

We stay at the Sheridan Huntsville Airport for the convenience of proximity to airline check in and boarding. Our flights are usually early morning and we live over an hour away from the airport. We like the Sheraton and really have no problem with the hotel itself. One thing we did not like this visit was the meal we received in the restaurant. We were told there would be a buffet with fried chicken. Since it was more convenient to eat there than go out we gave it a try. First, it was over an hour late in opening. Secondly, the "fried chicken" was overcooked McDonalds Chicken McNuggets, along with mediocre mac and cheese and a small salad bar. The meal was no where close to the $17.95 per person we paid. We will not eat there again.
