Overall, we had a wonderful time during our stay! The lobby was very modern and clean and the staff were friendly and happy to help answer any questions we had. The rooms were a good size and seemed to be pretty clean. The bed was comfy and the pillows were acceptable, albeit not very supportive. The bathroom overall was in good condition, but if we turned on the sink water too high it would start leaking at the base of the faucet. Our only real complaint was how thin the walls seemed to be. We could hear doors slamming all throughout the day and evening and we could hear quite a bit from the conversations in the rooms next to us. The other issue we had, and this one I can't fault the hotel itself for, was being literally right across the street from a fire department station. Truck sirens went off pretty consistently throughout the day and into the evening. If you're a light sleeper and someone who tends to go to bed early, this might be a big issue for you. Luckily we were able to block out the noises enough during our weekend trip that it didnt ruin things by any means. We used valet for our car which was $70 a night, which is pretty pricey, but we didnt want to have to park our car a few blocks away with the self parking. The pool wasn't very big, but it was clean and enjoyable to use. Overall we had a good time and would recommend this hotel to others looking for a good deal in the Windy City!
