The apartment had a nice view and we was in walking distance of absolutely everything. Trams trains shops it was on the doorstep. Would definately stay here in again when in Melbourne

The property is not located in a nice area of the CBD. It looks like a nice area online, but when you arrive, it is very dirty and not a nice smell. The reception also had a terrible smell when we entered. Staff failed to advise there was vomit that needed to be cleaned in the elevator area before we had already paid for our stay. We decided to not even stay in the accommodation and we found another location. Would not recommend staying here. For the price per night, it is definitely not worth staying.

I was pleasantly surprised with my room. It was clean, had kitchen ware and utensils. Washing machine and a drying rack were welcome., Toaster also available.It is a small space, but we only needed somewhere to sleep,and shower. The only negative comment is the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, but it won't stop me from staying here again. I loved the location, couple of minutes walk from tram, it was very easy to find.close to markets, very close to Melb central shopping centre, various eating places nearby. I will definitely be staying here again, it's my new Melb go to! A big thankyou to Nishtha for a nice welcome, and quick check in .

Staff were polite and courteous. Location was great and apartment was clean. There could be clearer signage on where to check in - check in was in a side Office labeled City Edge apartments rather than Comfort apartments which caused some confusion.

Liked location, easy check in, room very clean apart from bit of mould build up on shower tiles. Balcony great for fresh air. Also shower looks like doesn’t get cleaned at bottom where glass meets base. New mattresses

We got upgraded to an apartment with a nice view of Elizabeth Street. Parking was for the night plus all of the next day (right up until midnight), making it easy to enjoy the city on foot.

The location was great. There were multiple issues with keys, parking, lack of bedding provided for the fold out bed even when we had booked for our child. No power outlets in the kitchen or bathroom. Bed was very uncomfortable.

We booked a room with two double beds through Expedia but got a room with one double bed only which we had to take as no other alternative was available. We were offered to cancel and look for other hotels but had booked this hotel prior to Christmas so we’re expecting to get what was booked as it was close to Queen Victoria Market. Not an enjoyable experience.

The property had an instant unpleasant smell that did not got away throughout the extent of the stay. My husband and I even kept the window open the whole time. There was blood on the blankets and pillows too.

Really poor communication. Was closed on arrival and had to call a reception member to let us in. When trying to pay for our parking their eftpos machine wouldn’t work and paid cash however they were unhappy that I didn’t have exact change. Very poor attitude about the whole situation and I felt as though the whole experience was handled poorly. Only 1 key for 4 people. No one at reception on check out so we just left the key in the room. Was cheap and did the job for the purpose of the booking however will probably not be staying again.

Horrible experience. Pay a few dollars more and stay someplace else. Location = “perfect” but that’s it. I convinced myself at all their prior poor reviews wouldn’t pertain to me. But I was wrong. Units are wore and tired. Pics are more flattering than in person. Property claimed to have laundry. Listed as an amenity and Showed pictures of in-unit laundry on their Expedia ad. I arrive to a studio with no laundry. No laundry available in the entire building. Front desk staff was very short with me and said I had no option but to stay “as is” or cancel the reservation. This was at 6 o’clock in the evening. They told me that they do not guarantee laundry with every unit but “They try.” The front desk staff does the bare minimum. When I initially called the front desk about the laundry situation, they said they would call me back shortly. I waited 45 minutes and then went down to reception in person. The gentleman told me I had an international phone number and he didn’t know how to call me. However, he confirmed my phone number at check-in with the country code. The linens were stained with blood or some other dark substance. Both the showerhead and the bathroom sink nozzles sprayed in various directions. The room could use a deep cleaning. Bedside tables were obviously damaged prior and glued back together. The list could go on….. The price is attractive but don’t be fooled.

Reasonably good spot, but the parking you can pay for through the hotel was WAAAY too far away. Relatively clean. Wouldn't suggest paying extra for an extra person on the sofa bed - it was old and saggy, meaning an average sleep.

Good location, but facilities not

Good: comfortable bed, quiet room, convenient location, kitchenette. Not good: no saucepan (only two old frypans), missing bit of bar fridge so taller containers (such as milk) could not be put in door and did not fit on fridge shelves, uncomfortable couch, bed sheets done wrong, no winter doona or blanket (only summer weight), others I’ve forgotten.
