Bonito hotel en el centro histórico
Me gustó mucho este hotel, en el centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México, la habitación cómoda y espaciosas, el restaurante del hotel, maravilloso, el área no está donde está ubicado no es la más bonita, pero tienen buena seguridad, y el personal muy cálido y agradable, definitivamente consideraré volver a hospedarme con ustedes !!

The location is convenient. One night the only restaurant was closed because of a private event. One morning there was no water in the room. Sometimes noisy but otherwise great clean hotel friendly staff and convenient location. Very interesting truly historic boutique hotel. Reasonable price. Well maintained.

We had a 'junior suite' for 4 nights in Nov at Casa de la Luz Hotel. It is very conveniently located to the Plaza Constitution, with a wealth of shopping, sight seeing and dining options easily accessible. The beds were very comfortable and the shower pressure great. A hearty breakfast was included in the price which was great. A welcome cocktail at the terrace bar was a nice touch. The staff was friendly, but not very knowledgeable about the history of this old building or the surrounding areas - nothing a google search couldn't rectify! We would stay here again on future CD MX visits.

My husband and I stayed at Casa de Luz for a long weekend in October with some friends. We LOVED it! Gorgeous hotel with spacious rooms and nice linens Excellent cafe for breakfast The NICEST staff in every part of the building I’d love to come back!

Great stay in historic centre
We had a short but wonderful stay at Casa de la Luz, it’s a gorgeous building that’s well located in the historic centre. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, well appointed (great shower!), and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant is also really good, highly recommended checking them out. Loved our stay, wish it was longer!

Solid 5 stars!!! Hotel is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, nice AC unit, and super clean. Good drapes, and we had no noise issues, our suite faced the park. The staff was outstanding. Housekeeping and maintenance personnel very helpful and polite. The receptionist was very kind and made us feel very welcome. This place has a restaurant, beautiful ambience. We had Juan and Jose Luis and their service was outstanding. Francisco was the bartender and he made couple of excellent cocktails with some recommendations. The chef’s and the kitchen staff did an amazing job preparing our dinner. Everything was delicious. In the morning, the breakfast was very complete. We had a delicious meal with excellent service from Mauricio and we had Jose Luis again. The chefs again, outstanding job. We would definitely return to this place again. Note to management: please congratulate your Human Resource person, your hotel staff exceeded our expectations. Thanks again

The hotel is charming, an most importantly the staff is amazing. When my shuttle could not get close to the hotel due to an event at Zócalo, a staff member came to meet me and walk me back to the hotel. My only suggestion would be more privacy, as the bedroom doors are glass with only sheer curtains covering them. Very good breakfast, too. Highly recommend.
