Everything about the hotel was just as advertised. We loved the cave's interior, exterior, and the surrounding area. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Deniz was particularly funny and spent time with us during breakfast. They treated every guest like family. The kitchen staff prepared a sumptuous traditional Turkish breakfast, which was delicious, ensuring we were well-fed. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

We loved Adelya. Everything was perfect. Great location in the heart of Goreme, walking distance to everything. Breakfast was amazing and the owner has a restaurant worth at least a couple of nights of the best Ottoman inspired and traditional dishes you will have in Turkiye. The staff are lovely. Truly, we could not have asked for better for our time in Cappadocia.

Great hotel; Best Breakfast

The Adelya Cave hotel is great. The two gentleman that work the front desk were very helpful. The breakfast here is probably in the top 5 best that I have ever had at a hotel. I recommend this hotel for sure, but if you find yourself 50-50, I promise that the breakfast here will put it over the top!

Best breakfast and location

Amazing place! The owner is always at the hotel, attentive to the customers’ needs. The breakfast is outstanding—almost anything you could want. The staff is incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff are all very lovely, having lots of recommendations on where to eat and what to do. We got an airport shuttle to and from the airport, 15 euros cash per person which was great. Every morning, you’re greeted by the owner and staff at breakfast where they cook a huge delicious breakfast for you to start your day! And even better, you get to eat watching over Goreme on the terrace which is beautiful. The room was clean, we got an iron on request to use when needed. The head of security, Harley (the hotel cat), loves to say hi and watch over the place. Be careful if you leave your window open, or you might have to escort his fluffy butt out of your room. Our room didn’t have AC but with it being in the rock and having a fan, we found it very comfortable. Sometimes I was even too cold and had to turn the fan off! Very nice to come back to after a hot day out.

Dennis spoke excellent English which sure helped alot. The "cave" superior room was fabulous with a lovely window overlooking some of the hillside and formations. I was even able to watch the balloons taking off in the morning. Breakfast was amazing and cooked to order, with them preparing dairy free dishes for my husband. We were able to walk all around Goreme as it's a very central location. Bed and pillows comfy. Wifi excellent. Parking out front. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay

From the moment I walked in I felt this was the right place. I loved the location, I felt like at home, the staff is very nice and friendly, Furkan was very helpful with all the information, I would definitely come back here again.

10/10 Excellent

It is a cozy boutique hotel, managed by the very friendly owner Denniz. Rooms were warm and spacious even though the temperature outside was 53 degrees and there were 4 of us. The breakfast was included and was plenty with Turkish plates. Conveniently located, it is a few feet from the Main Street which is filled with restaurants, cafes and stores.
Diego, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

A lovely boutique hotel in a good location walkable to the main centre of Goreme town. The staff were really friendly and helpfull. The cave room was nice and spacious but the bathroom was slightly small. Amazing breakfast on the terrace with views of the hot air balloons.

Best location and breakfast

Such a great hotel with honestly the best breakfast daily! The owner is incredibly sweet and friendly and we found all their staff very helpful and knowledgeable. The cave room had a decent bathroom, the only thing we really needed was AC as our room came with only a fan. Otherwise we were very comfortable and had a lovely time. I believe that only our room did not have AC, but the rest do so that’s great, The location is also perfect for getting around Cappadocia easily by foot and the rooftop terrace was beautiful. Would definitely recommend booking this hotel

The property was lovely, warm and inviting. The host Dennis was excellent, he and staff made you feel like a special guest in a Turkish home. He provided personalised service and did everything to make our stay wonderful The turkish breakfast he and his staff made was the best I had in Turkey and it was different both days but quite delicious
Shrijayanti, 2-night trip

Wonderful experience

We had a wonderful stay in this cave hotel. The service was great with the best breakfast ever. We were treated to different homemade breakfasts each day that were presented by friendly staff. The only downside was there was only filtered coffee rather than latte or cappuccino options. We were grateful for the fans provided in the rooms enemy thought air con would have made the rooms more comfortable. Overall we rate this hotel very highly.
marie, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Booked Adelya based on its top ratings and turns out they really deserve them. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast absolutely incredible, better than other hotels we stayed at with buffet breakfasts. We stayed in one of the cheaper cave rooms (no 4) and I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be very attractive (looked decent but not amazing in the photos). But in fact it was a really lovely room and we felt completley comfortable in it. Just one concern in the room was that when I moved a little trash can, a drain smell became quite apparent, hope they can sort that. It wasn't an issue until I moved the bin!
Adrienne, 2-night trip

2/10 Terrible

We regret so much staying in this hotel. We were so excited about staying in a "cave hotel" but as soon as we landed we had a terrible experience. In a summary, there was a hideous and nauseous smell in the room, linens were dirty and stained, bad transportation service. We booked transportion from ASR airport to the hotel (approx 1:15 by car). We landed at 21:35 and had to wait almost 2 hours for the driver to start driving, since we had to wait for people arriving in later flights. I wish I had known this beforehand so we could have booked a private transportion elsewhere. This caused us to arrive 1:30am to the hotel; we were offered a comp drive back to the airport but it didn't work as we were leaving Göreme by bus (bus station is located walking distance from the Hotel). But the worst part was the room itself. It has a hideous, nauseous and stenching smell. We were told that it was caused by the old sewerage system, I don't this is a valid excuse, since there are ways to fix the smell, but they choose not to do so. The smell was so bad that it impregnanted our clean clothes – we had to send them to the laundry in our next hotel. Additionaly to this, the bed linens and towels were in poor condition, stained and impregnated with the same faulty smell. We decided to stay one more day in Göreme, but we decided to book somewhere else as it was a no no staying one more night in this hotel.
Ioana, 2-night trip

Five stars

We were very impressed with Adelya Cave Hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. This Cave room was so quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was homemade everyday…delicious, traditional Turkish dishes. The dining area had an indoor and outdoor area with a view of the area. There was coffee, tea, juice available all day! We were very impressed with the two young men who worked in the office were extremely helpful and friendly. We used the hotels offer of arranging all the the activities we choose to do and could not have been more satisfied. Especially the ranch they work with. The hotel is located in the town, near restaurants and shops. We can highly recommend staying at Adelya Cave Hotel! Ps…we were told that the hotel will be closed for the month of February for installation of air conditioning in all rooms!
Lisa, 4-night trip

8/10 Good

Amazing Staff at a GREAT Location!

Location is central to the walls/treks for the various valleys such as pigeon valley and love valley which are two of the main treks. Goreme open air museum and sunset bill all within walking distance! The bars restaurants and shops are all here too so location is hard to beat! Staff are hands down amazing very helpful lovely and made us feel like they genuinely cared for us so they made the stay excellent from start to finish! Absolutely amazing! Breakfast wasn’t my cup of tea but they did make a great effort and lots of other people did enjoy it as it consisted of a lot of cheeses and bread. But they also did omelette too which was good! The room itself did not have air conditioning but did have fans and as the room was not cool it was hard to cool down and for this reason I would have to go with a hotel that has air con or cooler rooms so deeper into the rock. The general cleanliness is okay but the shower room could have been better as the shower head was broken. The hotel and terrace are nice to sit at however I would not call them instagrammable, like some terraces are in Goreme. That said forget the terraces and get to sunset hill that’s where the best balloon shots are. Overall very happy with the hotel and would highly recommend it if you can handle not having aircon!
