The hotel is very old. The room is also not clean. It was a very bad hotel experience for us.

The staff is nice. Breakfast is good. There is a big mall nearby,about 15 mins drive, a good shopping and eating place.

Check in and was a smooth process, everything in the room was clean. Bed was very uncomfortable, very still and I personally couldn’t get very comfortable. Breakfast was good with a decent variety.

Nice hotel. Quiet room. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, sausage and a variety of ceral, plus the usual waffle maker. Yougart and apples, blueberrie muffins and bagels.

During our second night stay, the power went out due to an issue with a transformer. Of course, this was no fault of the hotel management, but their lack of communication with hotel guests was disappointing. No effort was made to keep guest informed of what was happening. At the very least, the manager could have explained the situation and been more proactive with guests about when they could return to their rooms.

The room quality was good but the service was just ok. The fire alarm went off and no instructions were given by the staff. The power and wifi remained off for the night and no apologies were given during the check out.

Check in was awful. Took thirty minutes. Three people working and were very rude and difficult to understand. At one point I was told I needed my husband to come check in. He was in the car with the kids. Finally convinced them I made the reservation and paid with my card. Breakfast was disgusting, with undercooked eggs and sausage. Very inconvenient set up with flow of people. And nothing was wiped up or replaced in a timely matter.

As frequent travelers: this was the worst hotel experience we have had to date. We literally felt like we were in prison and should have read a policy and procedure manual before coming.
1. Check In: Our trip was entirely paid for through Expedia. We booked 2 nights for 2 Adults and 1 child (14 years old as noted in the Expedia drop down menu). Upon arriving to the hotel we were informed that it would be an extra $25 due to our child’s age. We asked why and were informed that “this is our policy and it covers food cost”. From our understanding the continental breakfast was included in the room charge and our 14 year old child is not eating $25 worth of breakfast.
2. Customer Service: Have never felt so uncomfortable during an out of town stay
a. Because we are from out of town for a sports event; we had a visitor come from another hotel. When the visitor walked in they were immediately harassed and asked what room they were going to. They were also followed. The front desk person found me and stated that if our visitor is there for more than 30 minutes we would get charged. I asked why if they were just visiting and they stated “this is our policy”.
b. Because we are from out of town we had a family member (80 years old) visit at the hotel who brought pizzas. (Total for family there were 3 rooms booked). We wanted to eat pizza in the lobby area where there are tables (and where continental breakfast is served). We were informed we could not do that because the area is
