Beautiful resort-like hotel in a great part of Phoenix! Everyone was very kind and helpful. Our room was very clean and well-decorated. I loved the Marshall speaker in room to play music on. We had a really great stay!

first night didnt sleep at all cause it's built like a motel so rooms are outside... no security and right on a busy road, VERY noisy. Also walls are paper thin so I could hear EVERYTHING on the room upstairs. The second day I asked to move to the back of the hotel and on a top floor and it was much better and more quiet. I wouldnt stay there again tho.

I don't usually leave reviews. However this place was awesome!! My girlfriend and I were in town for my graduation at GCU. This was the most unique and best Hotel we have ever stayed in. My girlfriend made the comment, "just add a fridge and we could live here!" Spacious shower, huge ass bed, great air flow, fun complimentary drinks and popsicles. We'll come back to Phoenix just to stay in this Hotel again.

We had a nice 2 night stay here! We enjoyed the surrounding area and what the property had to offer. Staff was friendly and attentive and managed any questions or concerns we had with kindness and respect. :-)

We used to love the Rise Uptown, but over the past few years we've seen it really decline in service and hospitality, not to mention cost. First of all, don't accept a room on the 3rd floor, you will most certainly hear load stomping all night from the rooftop bar. Next, the cold water faucet on the sink did not work at all, only hot water (if it worked). Third, the hot water, was non-existent unless you let the shower run for upwards of 10 min flat, and I'm being serious, hopefully you are not in a hurry to get ready after your sleepless night. Lastly, let's discuss the $75/chair fee for your pool side afternoon. Seems they sold off the pool and bar area to an outside vendor who now rents out the chairs/loungers to anyone in town that wants to pay to play. Will definitely find other options next time in town. Very sorry to see this place slowly decline. Maybe it was a bit telling to overhear others complaining in the lobby when I went in.

Stayed six days, my room was cleaned once. Apparently rooms are only cleaned every third day. I was not made aware of this at check in. Room cleanliness was ok/average. Could use a deep clean. Hotel Staff were fine. Food and drinks good. Even though I wouldn’t return to the hotel it was fine. Guess I got what I paid for.

Selected this eclectic little hotel based on its reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The accommodations were comfortable and well kept. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Convenient food, coffee bar, night life. Only thing I needed was an iron, but they did provide a steamer. Would definitely return and recommend.

It was very disappointing. The hotel was not like the pictures. Some rooms are so old and the furniture is shabby. We drove 12 hours to get there, and they had three parties rented out for the pool, so as guests, we could not get two chairs to enjoy by the pool, and the DJ had the music blaring. We asked the "lead check-in" person to help us find two chairs by the pool, and she said there was nothing she could do. We had to switch rooms because the hot water did not work in the first. The only gem in this review is an employee named Miranda. She was not a "lead" or manager but she was so kind, and tried to really help us have a better experience. Miranda should be the "lead" of that place.

Stayed at property for the weekend. Room had a strong Oder and had to purchase an air freshener for the room. Also came upon soiled linens and a used needle in between the pull out bed. Not a good experience.
