Our little family of four that includes two (4 and 7 y.o.) children, really did enjoy our stay. Clean, safe, and the staff was always willing to help. Our biggest challenge was the non-transparency of the information provided for times of exactly which places to eat were opened and if minors were allowed, or you have to be on your game early in the day to try and get a reservation made for certain restaurants on the premises. That became very frustrating when trying to keep the kids patient that had hungry appetites needing to be calmed! The point of an all-inclusive is NOT to have to buy snacks outside the resort to keep the hungry cubs at bay! My suggestion to the management: use your funds to have daily billboards AND in room info of exactly what everyone is ALLOWED to go do, eat, and when!!

We stayed at Buenaventura Grand Hotel & Great Moments for 5 days and 4 nights, and while there were a few highlights, the overall experience left much to be desired — especially for an all-inclusive resort. Food & Dining (1/5): The biggest disappointment was the food. There was a serious lack of variety in dining options. By the second day, I was already burnt out on the repetitive and uninspired Mexican dishes offered. While I expected authentic flavors, what we got instead felt more like cafeteria-style food with little to no creativity or freshness. The American food served by the pool and at the Sunset restaurant was even worse — the hamburger tasted like something out of a vending machine, and the nachos seemed like they were assembled with canned ingredients. I had high hopes for the dinner experience at the Sunset restaurant, but the meal was honestly inedible. Every dish was over-salted to the point where it masked any other flavor. There was no balance or finesse — just heavy seasoning that felt like an afterthought. We also tried the Corazón restaurant, which was a slight improvement, but still far from a refined dining experience. It had potential, but needed better execution and fresher ingredients. Cleanliness & Hygiene (2/5): Another issue was the hygiene around food and drinks.
