Great staff, in need of renovation
It was a fine stay. Great location and fine facilities. For the price I think the hotel could use a renovation. It looks like over the years a few things broke and were never replaced. However the staff was very friendly.

OK Except the Scorpion in the Shower
Per many reviews, the location is good but the place is worn and dated. Cleaning staff was consistently great. Other staff was either great or poor, depending on who you worked with. We had challenging travel due to weather, and they were flexible and accommodating - except for going dark during the day we we arrived and were trying to arrange a shuttle. Only buffet food on site, but 3-5 good options along the beach. Breakfast buffet (included) was good with reasonable options - we did not try lunch or dinner as we we are vegan/pescatarian and there were no fish options. Resort is not really on the beach, and shuttles were frequently hard to find - steep hills make walking a challenge unless you are up for it. Oh - and we had a scorpion in our shower one day. Was small and curled up when I scooped it out of the shower - then realized what it was after tossing it outside and it opened up (!) (see pic). Staff seemed unconcerned as I had already taken care of it. So - overall a mixed experience. Would definitely spend a bit more and stay true beachfront next time.

Poor quality inside room, dirty bathroom. Felt really bad after checking in. Originally booked for 3 nights, decided to check out after 2 nights due to extremely bad experience including power outage. Management declined to refund for cancelled last night

Beautiful for the view, for the rest disappointed
Excellent view, beautiful room! On the other hand, no bar near the beach, must take a shuttle to get there, everything on the service must be done by climbing steps, steep slopes.. The bar near the main swimming pool closes at 10 p.m. and we cannot not stay longer chatting... We could go to the Wet bar which closed at midnight. At 11:45 p.m. the bartender left. On the other hand, he was very nice! The one during the afternoon at the Wet bar could put a smile on his face. The swimming pool at the wet bar needed cleaning, there were lots of dead caterpillars. The room was very beautiful, clean and comfortable! Slept very well. The buffet was small (I don't know if it's because of the low season). When leaving, we had to wait for the housekeeper to check out. We have been to several 5 star hotels and never had to do that. We were in a hurry to go to the airport and we had to wait... The hotel is beautiful for the view, but for the rest, a little disappointed.

I loved this property and my overall stay. Staff is incredibly nice and super friendly very amazing one of the best services I’ve ever received. Food was AMAZING not a single day went without having the most delicious food ever. The view was beautiful and they make it easy for you to get around the property by providing shuttles. I stayed in a villa and it was very nice with a good view. Overall the property was always clean, good facilities, and well maintained. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone considering it

Beautiful! Everyday the sunset was amazing, the food was decent. It was great for peace and relaxing but if you want to party you have to be a person that knows how to create Fun! Very clean, the staff was great and the beach and excursions were a blast! Lock Your doors from Raccoons lol

This a a wonderful resort if you are looking for a quiet peaceful vacation. They do have a bar little dancing music karaoke bingo but It is not a party resort. Food was great fresh daily breakfast repetitive but still good . Staff very helpful and rooms clean and air conditioned worked well. Do not leave balcony door open raccoon will enter your room at night, good thing they are more afraid of you then you are of them.

Beautiful location and sunsets that will amaze you. People are great and helpful. Location is clean and quiet. Don’t listen to bad reviews if you can’t enjoy yourself here, it’s on you. Yes, there is one restaurant but the food is great staff is friendly and helpful food is different daily. Pools are great and the beach is amazing and chill.
