Won't stay here again

Although the check-in was okay, the room was a huge disappointment. It smelled like damp cat. The carpet felt dirty. The cable is limited. Why does the toilet sit so close to the floor? I felt like my knees were at my chin it was so low. Other than two small bars of soap, there were no amenities, and no hand towels - only 2 bath towels and one washcloth. The only redeeming thing was that the mattresses were a good firmness for us. Other than that, no thanks. We've stayed at Red Roofs before that were somewhat better than this, but are now crossing them off our list.

Terrible stay

The room was dirty, trash from the person before us, dirty sheets on the bed that we had to take off and put outside to get picked up. A dog toy on the floor from the people before us and the room reeked of cigarettes smoke

Do not stay here

This was not in anyway what was advertised or what we had paid for and will be challenging all the payments. We were charged $40 for an early check in that got us into a “non-smoking” room the wreaked of smoke 25 minutes before our check in at 2. The carpet was coming up and looked like mold. The floor of the shower was disgusting and connected to the toilet / no divider. We had no towels or soap and half our pillows were missing. The check in staff kept telling us and other guests different information about check in time being 2 or 3 and lied to multiple guests including us about what they can and would do to fix things. We tried to get our room changed but the place was completely booked. The pictures are not at all what the place looks like.

Redroof SOS!!!

Staff was friendly? And room was awful! The door was clearly kicked in at one point and lock was broke and trim was busted really bad. That should have been an immediate fix. Ceiling light was dangling like it was about to fall. Some lights didn’t work and gfi outlets didn’t work and busted. Stains on sheets and there was a substance all over the ironing board. The room wasn’t that clean at all. The neighbors toilet didn’t work. Other people were complaining about their rooms as well. That place needs some serious tlc. If we weren’t 4 hours away from home and had another option we would have left. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my dog.

Avoid at all costs- and it wasn’t even that cheap!

We now know Red Roof Inn uses stock pictures or we NEVER would have booked this hotel. It is mainly a residential hotel. Not maintained. Not clean. Stained sheets. Stained towels. Stained bathtub. Moldy bathroom ceiling. No glasses. Disgusting floor. Traveling with a Working Dog, who always sleeps on the floor- I commanded her o to the bed and would not allow her to lie on the floor. Extremely disappointed with Red Roof and Hotels.com.

I've been staying here yearly since about 2015. General decline is expected. Wasn't as clean as usual but the major thing was 3 people in a room with 1 towel. When asked for more they didn't have any clean and said it would probably be around 10 am the next day before we could get any. We are pretty normal people but do prefer to shower daily.
