The room was the cheapest Edmonton had to offer, but the word cheap, says it all. The towels were ancient and super stained, didn’t smell like they had been cleaned. The rugs were dirty and could see hair in every corner you looked to. Also I wiped down each surface with my own wipes and they weren’t clean after doing so. If you’re looking for a quick affordable stay, spend the extra $20 and go somewhere else.

Concert and family weekend

Rooms were comfortable though a bit tight in the doorway/Bath area. Clean, quiet and good wifi. Continental breakfast was waffles, toast or bagels with hard boiled eggs for protein. Not ideal for a diabetic. There is a restaurant on the premises which had more variety. Seemed to be a bit of vagrant traffic around the front doors which was not ideal but were generally not aggressive or annoying but not comfortable for the wife. Open area between the building for pets to run and do their business. Included hurdles, a ramp and frame for them to play in which was good.

Poor hôtel management, maintenance and service.

I never leave reviews, but this time is different. My experience was awful and I don’t recommend that stay to anyone. Old hotel and not well maintained. Poor hôtel management, maintenance and service. The hair-dryer in my room was cleary old, rusted and crooked. I had to use it, the back came out and I almost got electrocuted. They dare to charge me for damage to the hair dryer. The back piece came out by itself as it was way too old, already damaged and due for replacement. When in good conditions, hotel’s air dryers are made very solid, it’s almost impossible to break it. The service is awful. They don’t care about customer service at all. They say they gonna do something over the phone and follow up with action. I’ve had better quality stay and service at motels.

Rooms were renovated, one of our rooms were renovated nicely but had no heat, took them some time to get it working. The room on 3rd floor looked to be rushed on renovations as they were not complete. No rod in closet or hangers for clothes and coats. Only one hook in the bathroom. We booked two rooms with 2 queen beds in each. We received 2 rooms with two double beds. So it was very tight for us but we made it work.

Pet friendly but not so friendly pets! Rooms are very noisy as are the hallways. The air conditioner was very noisy and dirty so had to unplug it. The pillows are either lumpy or hard and there were three to pick from. Beds were creaky. The back board of the beds were made from some kind of woven fabric and had a lot of unknown stains on them. Tried to find the hotel at night and the outside signs were not lit up. The water slide was not in working order but didn’t tell you until you reserved a room. “Breakfast included” means continental breakfast and the kitchen worker says only one waffle per guest! Also has a hidden fee charged to your credit card of two hundred bucks.

This was part of a longer trip. I moved from a smaller room to a bigger room as more people were meeting with me for the remainder of trip. The bigger room was cleaner, nicer and had better AC. Great location for the room and the building. The cleaner had an awful attitude but the front staff were nice and helpful. Great parking, great location, great value for my money. I appreciated the daily cleaning of my room. Will def rent here again.

I stayed in a small 1-queen bed unit the first half of my stay. The AC wasn't working well. The hallways were dirty. I appreciated them making up my room every day. I got a good rate from hotels.com (under $100). I was happy with room. Great value for what I was paying.

Undelivered promise

The hotel itself was as expected, but the amenities promised in the listing were not delivered as advertised. The waterslide was out of order, and the hot tub had no jets. In the arcade room one of the three games was out of order. Last the promised buffet breakfast wasn't a buffet, but a continental breakfast with a one waffle per person policy. There were no warm or hot options outside toasting, and it was quite disappointing. As the buffet breakfast, and waterslide were the primary reasons for choosing the travelodge over other comparable hotels it dampened enthusiasm for the stay.

It was ok, couple if things not ok was the pillows it was small , lumpy, no hotel should have this pillows, when we aske for new pilliwa, staff said they dont have xtra, was dissapounted. AC noisy.
