Base Camping in Boulder
Lodging at the BaseCamp in Boulder is somewhat of a unique experience. The property owner has obviously put a lot of thought into setting an outdoorsy vibe, though it can appear over the top if you're a true outdoor enthusiast. Nonetheless, it's unique and very fitting for Boulder. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating, the rooms were clean, and the location is very walkable. My only complaint is that the shower in room 110 could use a little TLC.

The check in was nice. Room was a little run down. It was priced about $50 more that Marriotts nearby that offer streaming. They had a sauna which was cool but half of the stone warmers were broken so it didn’t get that hot. I kinda wish I’d taken my money elsewhere but it was a bed.

So cute!
Quick overnighter. Was very impressed with the amenities and design for the price. Was obviously a renovated old motel, but the design was so original. Bar with drinks/coffee/snacks. Activity lounge area, firepit seating. It was great. Only negative was doorjam in bathroom looked too have some water damage. But the place was perfect for my needs. Exceeded my expectations.

Room what cold, heater didn't heat room to a comfortable temperature. Parking was horribly tight - glad we brought our small car and not the one we usualy drive. The lighting was horrible in the room. I had to purchase a light so I could read.

Fun place if you’re in the mood for a nicely renovated drive up motel. The furnishings are nice, the bed is comfortable the parking is free and neighborhood is safe. The staff was very helpful and opened early without fuss when locked myself out of my room. More plugs on the desk would be appreciated. We all need to charge our devices before the next day’s adventure

I loved the location and most of the staff very kind courteous. Melanie especially went out of her way to be helpful. In their brochure there are several sections lauding the great biking in the area. Once you arrive after you rent bikes you might or might not notice a small sign saying no ebikes allowed on the premises. No one says anything about it upon checkin. In fact after several discussions with staff only about half of them were aware of this rule. We came from Pennsylvania with the main purpose of our trip being to bike the great trails they advertise. It really cast a pall upon the trip. The refrigerator leaked constantly and was "fixed" twice. When I checked there was still water leaking in the room. Washrags were also impossible to procure. It is still a pretty cool place and was reasonably priced.
