Great hotel, Not So hotels.com Customer Service
Would have been amazing, had hotels.com provided the room that I selected on the website that was accompanied by specific pictures of the room. The Hampton Inn and Suites staff was amazing and accommodating. The hotel.com CSR was indifferent, minimizing and completely unhelpful. This was a 71st birthday surprise for my wife. Given the for crap customer service that I got with hotels.com, as a gold member (the reviews online suggest that means nothing to the company), I have decided to go elsewhere and give someone else my money. Just reserved another week's stay in Ft. Myers with another online reservation site. Would have done it with hotels.com, as I have done so often in the past. Not any longer.
